Heart rate gender theory

Hi ladies, I know there is no scientific proof for this, but those of you who know the sex of your baby, what has their heart rate been in your appointments?

I'm 31 weeks and baby's heart rate has always been over 140bpm.

Over 140 is supposed to be a girl and under is a boy... Again only for a bit of fun but let's see if there is a pattern at least

24 wks - 135bpm
I'm having a boy - maybe true the later on in pregnancy?

Thanks ladies, let's hope some pattern emerges. As suspected it's prob a load of rubbish but fun to pass the time in work lol!

The same as Dolly, our little girl's heartbeat is usually between 140-150bpm

My Lo's hb was always 140-150

Mine has always worked before but this boy hb has been 163 and 160!! Sorry no help I know.
The second midwife said it was more to do with a wriggly very active baby or baby at rest , so maybee this lne was active both times giving higher results. Last boy always 140/145 ish !

team yellow but at last appt midwife said she thought girl due to the hr which has always been 142-160. Hubbi is adamant its a boy but we are happy either way......eeeeek not long to go to find out. Cant wait

I cant remember exactly what my lb's was but it was over 140. Me and my best friend were pregnant at the same time and had a midwife appointment the same day. Midwife told us il be having a girl cause his heartrate was so high and my friend would have a boy cause her babys was lower... we both had boys. This ones heartrate was 153 and im having a girl. Iv another appointment coming up so will update again
