Question re Baby's Heart rate

Hi all

Just back from a midwife appt and have a question regarding the baby's heart rate.

At every appt I have had, the heart rate has been between 150-160 bpm (my last appt was 2 weeks ago and was the same).

I had an appt today and the heart rate had dropped to between 120-130 bpm.

Is this normal?

The midwife didn't seem too concerned but I just think that thats quite a big drop consisdering its been consistently high until now. My appts have all been roughly at the same time of day so don't think that has had an impact.

Let me know if anyone else has had a similar experience and if its normal.

Quite normal and probably means baby was sleeping.......their heatbeat is much lower when they are resting/sleeping! My LO's heartbeat was always changing particularly in the last trimester!

If there was any reason for concern your MW would have said something!

yeah my baby's heart rate has been as low as 118 and then other times been 150 it just depends what they are up to in there!
