Harry's first weigh in

Well had the midwife round today for Harry's first weigh in at 5 days old.

He'd lost 9oz so is now 10lb 1oz which equates to 5% loss

Midwife (and mummy) are really pleased as she said bigger babies normally lose more

Harry also showed her how good he was at weeing.

Midwife places Harry on scales goes to take off his nappy and out comes a fountain of wee that went all over the dining table chairs and her scales!! Was so funny

I appear to be healing well so all is good Just wanted to share my first proud mummy moment xx

Great news! It's fab when you know you are doing something right!! Had Evie weighed last week at 3 weeks and she'd put on 12oz in 8 days - just felt great knowing that she was growing! Lol xxx
