Gonna ring the doctors tomorrow

Something isn't right with little man he's been sick a few times since Friday (he has never been a sicky boy at all) slightly off his food, a bit bobby when feeding, grouchy, nightmare to put to sleep, screamy, coughing and he just tugged at his ear twice (which he's never done before) so I think it might be sore. he just has a little sad look on his face!

Should I take him for this do you think?

I've been giving him calpol and nurofen so fx we can get an appt.

Hope he feels better hun. Maybe he has an ear infection? If it's making him a bit dizzy it could make him sick cos that's an automatic response against poisoning (same as when the room spins when you are drunk and throw up) xxxxxxxxx

Could be teeth. Certain teeth gives them earache, but def worth getting him checked over x

Lexi is teething really bad and she keeps pulling her ears and has been quite sickly.

Lexi is still a gummy bear too but just to be on the save side i would take him x x

36.3 on one side 36.6 on the ear pulling side he was 37 something yesterday.

He hasn't be hugely drooly

I'd still go hun. Angel was a bit like this last week, only not as bad (ie she wasn't screamy etc) but she kept pulling on her ears. Turns out it was just teething but even so it put my mind at rest

If that was under the arm then you have to add on a degree to get a true temp, you take off a degree for rectal temp

Mia was like this the last week or so. I took her to docs and they couldn't find anything wrong with her.
They said its probably teeth. Sure enough she got her first tooth today...
I would take him to docs to be sure tho sweetie. Hope he's better soon xxx

sounds like teething to me too, Alyssa is drooly, randomly screamy, sicky and shes never really been sick but has projectile vommed on me 4 times in 3 days. i think i see a tiny white bit so im sure its a tooth cutting. oh can see it too when i showed him so im not imagining it lol. i heard it can wreak havoc with ears, sinuses and their bums too. Alyssa is really snotty and occasionally coughing but its not a cold.

We rang them about 3am Friday morning coz Ethan had a fever (38.1) and had been really snotty and coughing! A paeds nurse rang us back and was great! Fortunately the fever settled in a couple of days with calpol. It's so hard when they r ill, I just felt so helpless! X

There is no harm in taking him to the docs. Put your mind at rest and that's what they are there for. Hope lil man is feeling better soon.x
