Going to the gyn Thursday

Welp, I am tired of worrying if there is something wrong with me or DH...so I am going to discuss fertility testing on Thursday. I will also find a place for DH to do a sperm analysis. It will just put me at ease to know if all is good then that is great but if we need help, I just do not want to waste any more time.

Well at least that way like you say you will know that everything is all right and ya can move on on the TTC path....

It has only been 4 months with my DH, which is not long, but I tried with my ex H in 1999 for a year with clomid and NOTHING. I just found out last week that my ex H is expecting his first child in 3 months with his new wife....so I wanna make sure my fears of not being fertile is valid or not. I was not tested back in 99...I had been on B/C pills for 13 years and was not OV...I have been off of them for three years now and my cycles are 29-30 days....so....we shall see.

I have been using the CBFM and preseed, EPO, every month...so maybe more needs to be done...I am 34 now too...sooo.

Well at least like I said ya will know whats going on and will put yr mind at rest if everything is ok and if something needs been be done to aid a little babba then ya going the right way about it!!!

what time is your appointment on wed, I and im sure the rest of the girls will be thinking about you!!!

Thanks girls! My appointment is at 10:40am. I will keep you all up to date. Thanks so much for the encouragement and support. I am not too stressed about it, I just want to get results and do what needs to be done if anything. I am ready to deal with whatever.

Good Luck Sandee - we had a fertility specialist appointment the month before our BFP I had all the tests done but I dont think I will receive any of the results now as they have cancelled up my follow up appointment

Thanks all. How cool would that be to get a BFP before I have to see a specialist. I am prob more relaxed than DH is. He is not looking forward to the sample. He swears he is fine... I am sure he is...but he is still giving it.

Well I went and did bloods last Thursday and this morning I had an HSG...it is a test where they insert a catheter into the cervix to fill the uterus and fallopeon tubes with dye and take xrays...all looked good there, thank God...still have not heard back on the bloods and DH is going on Wednesday to get his analysis done....one step closer I hope

Bloods came back all normal thank god. DH had his test yesterday but we may not get the results till Monday.

I am really hopeful these next few months. Doc and some other folks have told me that after the HSG you are 30% more fertile for a couple of months...something about the tubes being open and the cilia in the tubes being up and better positioned to catch and hold the egg for fertilization. I think maybe Aug...DH says Sept. I hope and pray for this month. OV this weekend and doc said go ahead and bd every day! Soooo...
