A bit annoyed cos i'm gonna have to change my appt till later in the week due to wrk commitments, but i'm pleased they're looking into it after only 7 months, i thought they would say wait till a yr.

I'm bleeding heavier now, so unlikely i'l have an internal exam, they'll prob just give me the norethiserone. Either way i'll be back at square one, which means it'll be early nxt yr when we could probably realistically ttc.

It's better than being in limbo and getting my hopes up each month thou, i don't know how you girls have coped as long as you have!!

Hey hun, i was on depo before a few years ago and it well and truely messed my cycles up for a good year after, also after my second mc i was going to go back on contraception for a while and was talking to GP about it and she advised me not to use depo again as in most cases it can take a year-18 months for cycles to return ro normal

I hope things improve soon no harm in going to your GP to talk about it.

Hi Kred, sorry to hear you are still bleeding but pleased you are being positive. Like you said the GP gave you some answers and you are no longer in limbo but now have a plan of action. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your bean.

An update!

Been and got the hormone results. Everything came back fine and normal.

Had the internal examination and everything looks normal. She took some swabs for infections, results in 7-10 days.

No clues as to why i'm bleed ing for 26 days each month, but if it continues i have to go back in 2 months and she will refer me to a fertility specialist.

So, just keep on trying i guess!
