Im posting on behalf of my sister who has a 20 month old little boy :D

He has just been diagnosed with a lazy eye and now has to wear glasses.
The problem she is having is how do you get a toddler to wear glasses?

She has tried everything and he just pulls them off hes only had them 4 days and she has already taken two pairs into be fixed :?

Anyone had any experience of lo's wearing glasses.

I used to flush mine down the loo at that age... and younger.

I was in america at the time, and they gave childeren ones that looped around the back of the ear, so they were like hooked on, I could still remove them but not as esily, also one of those head bands at the back, taht you see on some sunglasses etc? IYKWIM :? Kind of holds them on, but nothing worked really... mum would put them on me, and distract me straight away, then I might keep them on for a bit playing, but... with a child that small its a loosing battle!!

Oh I meant to add, could they not give him a patch to wear on the good eye? I could never get them off myself I mean a stick on patch like a plaster, but for they eye, they do them with disney stickers that go on them etc. Might only need to wear it for a few hours a day etc...

Thanks CoreysMummy but i think your right she is going to have to wait till hes a little bit bigger :?

Im not sure about the patch i will ask her.
