Glasses

Im posting on behalf of my sister who has a 20 month old little boy

He has just been diagnosed with a lazy eye and now has to wear glasses.
The problem she is having is how do you get a toddler to wear glasses?

She has tried everything and he just pulls them off hes only had them 4 days and she has already taken two pairs into be fixed

Anyone had any experience of lo's wearing glasses.

I used to flush mine down the loo at that age... and younger.

I was in america at the time, and they gave childeren ones that looped around the back of the ear, so they were like hooked on, I could still remove them but not as esily, also one of those head bands at the back, taht you see on some sunglasses etc? IYKWIM Kind of holds them on, but nothing worked really... mum would put them on me, and distract me straight away, then I might keep them on for a bit playing, but... with a child that small its a loosing battle!!

Oh I meant to add, could they not give him a patch to wear on the good eye? I could never get them off myself I mean a stick on patch like a plaster, but for they eye, they do them with disney stickers that go on them etc. Might only need to wear it for a few hours a day etc...

Thanks CoreysMummy but i think your right she is going to have to wait till hes a little bit bigger

Im not sure about the patch i will ask her.
