Haha I was wondering where that was going...concerned that my dad saw my.... lol ;)

Well I'm positivity :) (didn't think thru the user name when I joined  ) so please just call me Pos!

I'm 29 and live in south west London with my OH and baby boy William. I joined PF quite a while ago while TTC and I can honestly say I doubt I would have my boy if it wasn't for all the advice on DTD, opks, bfns, bfps, lines, no lines, peeing on a stick, ov.....u get the point :oooo:

It's a great place to be and friendships have been made along the way which can be a double edged sword as it can cone across as clicky (altho I never experienced this in ttc!) so big thanks to the lovely Laura for this thread xx

I am on maternity leave for a year from my job in HR! Lovely to meet y'all! Xx

Fab thread - seems strange finding out everyone's real names!! lol

I'm Helen, 31, live in Derby and have been with my OH for 7 years, celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. We were ttc for only 7 months and were very blessed with a sticky bean first time round. Evangeline (Evie) surprised us by being a week early and a bit diddy at 7lbs 3oz, arriving on 30th March 2012 - 4 weeks today - can't believe how much it has flown by!!! I had a quick 5 hour labour which although painful (I dilated too quickly to get my epi!!) was actually ok - I'd quite like another so it can't have been that bad!!!!

We had a really crap time with breast feeding (a very similar story to Olive who started the thread) and after lots of professionals trying (and failing) to help I ended up expressing and bottle feeding her for a fortnight before my milk supply dried up. I'm still not quite over this psychologically and feel like a bit of a failure for not BF but have to say Evie is thriving and a very happy content little girl so it's a problem in my head and not hers!!

I'm a primary school teacher in my non-mummy life and love my job. I'm due to go back 3 days a week at the start of Dec and although I think it'll be hard to leave her I do enjoy what I do so hope this will make it easier. I have found this forum a fab place for advice and support. I think it would be really nice (but probably impossible!) to have a big PF meet up when the LOs are older as I would love to meet everyone's little monkeys that I hear so much about!!!

Hi im Jess aged 32 soon to be 33 in June. My LO Charley Lawrence was born at 12.05am on the 29th Feb. A Leaper Baby. Although had I have had my way he would have been here on the 28th. He is currently 8 weeks old.

I still carnt bring myself to write my birth story as it was traumatic. To cut a long story short I had high blood pressure before I got pregnant but the pregnancy stablised it up until the last few weeks. I was due on the 21st Feb but of course was over due but I had to fight to be induced a week after my due date as they were going to leave me for 14 days and good job I pushed as when I went in at 9.30am on the 28th my BP 165/100 and rising fast so I was pre eclemptic which meant induction had to start straight away.

The labour was traumatic in the last stages and due to the 3rd midwife things took a turn for the worst. If it wasnt for a relief midwife coming on shift at 11.45pm I dread to think what would have happend. I missed 4 hours of my time Charley as I was in Surgery and then on the high dependancy ward. I attempted to BF and he got the bit he needed but due to medication I have had to go to bottle.

I have been married for 8 years come June the 5th. I work as an accounts assistant and my husband who is 32 works as a self employed upholsterer / leather technition.

Even though I had the problems in labour and the complications I have now I wouldnt change it for the world as Charley was a long awaited baby.

Hello!

Im Karen, Im 34 and I live in Sunny Worthing in West Sussex although orginially from Paisley near Glasgow but moved 'down south' so long ago I have a Scottish & English accent! Which I have recently discovered confuses the hell out of my daughter!

I work for Job Centre Plus as a claims processor and go back in 3 weeks! Been there over 3 years now and I can honestly say I loved my job. (I say loved as I may not when I go back lol)
Been with my OH 11 years this year and finally got him to marry me last year. We fell pregnant within a week of deciding we would try. Got my BFP the evening of the day I booked the wedding lol

Grace turned 6 months on Thursday and is the best thing I ever did. Grace is the apple of her daddies eye. My husband says he should of agreed to it sooner instead of letting me get pets instead. We have 2 staffie crosses and a tabby cat who thinks he's a staffie and about 40 fish at last count.

I am going to be a great auntie in May as my oldest niece is expecting the first boy in the family.

We plan to ttc around August next year and decide after the next one wether to go for a 3rd of not

Grace was born 26th October 2011 @2:57am after a 48 hour labour, weighing 7lbs 14.5oz

Brilliant idea Olive.

I'm Rachael and I'm 25 (26 in July). Married to Mark. It'll be our first wedding anniversary on May the 14th. I got diagnosed with pcos in nov 2010. Started metformin in jan 2011. Started actively ttc in may 2011 and fell straight away. I feel so lucky! I found out I was pregnant on the last day of our honeymoon so was a lovely ending. Suspectic ectopic pregnancy at 6 weeks. Suspected early labour at 31 weeks but was false alarm thankfully. Then on jan 20th my boy Joshua was born. 8lb and 6hrs from start of contractions to birth 5 days before due date.

I currently have a job as an admin assistant for an online advertising agency. I love reptiles and geocaching. I'm a bit of a nerd lol.

xx

Hi everyone! Great idea!
Im Sarah, 36, married and taking a year out maternity leave from my architecture training, hopefully be fully qualified in the next couple of years! I was in the RAF for 13 years before that. I have a 15 year old daughter Michaela and almost 7 month old son Kynon, so plenty of hormones and parenting challenges at both ends of the scale!

Im still bf and will continue for as long as he wants to but Id love another baby soon but guess i could be waiting a while with all this feeding! I was very lucky and had an easy labour and birth which was over in 1 and half hours and caught me by surprise as he was 4 weeks early and we were in the middle of a loft conversion! Luckily he was fine and is a little bruiser. I was gutted i didn't get my home water birth though!

Kynon is quite a needy baby and doesn't really do sleep, he's permanently attached to me either feeding or being carried but I don't mind most of the time as I love his cuddles!

Im a bit of an aged goth, only wear black and love all things a bit alternative and heavy metal or rock music. Im a gym bunny (or was!) and addicted to all things crafty!

Ah loving the replies and the PF love  (how cheesy am I?). Really cool to find out more about everyone. It'd nice to see how much of us use this section as well as I was worried nice leaving tri 3 that I'd have no one to chat to on here. This sections ace tho!

Terri it must be nice to have a partner who understands how pregnancy feels!

Happy Friday ladies

Xx
