Do you Guys believe that a Full Moon can kick you into labor?

Have you, your family or friends had any experience in that department?

Just wondering :)

Read something a while back about maternity wards being so many % busier during full moons. Can't remember what the percentage was but it was surprisingly high! When is next one? Know there is one end of August and end of September xx

I've added the dates xx

Will be really interesting to keep an eye on!!! Lots of the June mummies had their babies close together didn't they ~ think there was 4 one day! X

I don't know about the Labour part of it but yes I have found that nightshifts are a lot busier on full moons like patients are a lot more unsettled. I would be quite happy for Labour to start on the next one at the end of the month as I will be nearly 38 weeks lol x

Oh I hadn't thought about this! Since I got my bfp I've had the date of August 2nd in my head... Which should be during the next full moon! Weird... I just looked it up and it's something to do with the gravitational pull can bring on contractions in women near the end of their gestation. We shall see.... Kick us August mummies off with a bang if it is true!! X

Yes! Definitely worth keeping an eye on, I think :)

If I gave birth on 29 August I would be one happy bunny hahah x

Forum hopping here, I was due on 24th April but my baby waited until the full moon in May. I'm a farmers wife
And there was a lot of talk about how a change in weather and full moon would kick me off like it does for sheep, and sure enough after a week of sunshine the rain came with the full moon and I went into labour. Even my midwife said it would happen when the weather changed

Wow, El1en! That is a good story! Gave me chills ;)

How weird! I'm due on 3rd September so nearest full moon -29th August would be just 4 days early for me!! :) My husband is convinced our baby will be born on the 28th of August though - My grandad, mum and me are all born on the 28th of different months - absolute coincidence Im sure.
Xxx

My midwife told me she was so so so busy at the last full moon, she said loads of her ladies went in to labor!

I'm due 5th September so mine would be the same Summer, I've always said I will have her 28th August that was before seeing this post. How weird xxxx

Ooo this is interesting! I've always had 3rd August in my mind from day 1! Due August 18th..... X

Ooo this is an exciting post! I would be happy with the next full moon July 31st! Ill be 37 weeks then so fully cooked! But the 29th August is also close to my due date 21 aug, and also would have been my nanas 90th birthday this year. Spooky. Ooo we will have to watch our August mummies around end of July!! Few of us are already getting niggles!!! :) x

Just googled past full moons and all mine where born at night but not during full moons.

Hoping this one will be near to the october one.
