He's still in his 3-6 month stuff but he is long, about 67cm! He is pretty slim though he was still under a stone when I last got him weighed. So he isn't going to be short and stumpy like me

Awww that outfit is fab, also love the panda socks lol. Can't believe how tall he is, last time Jacob was measured just over 3 weeks ago, he was 62cm and weighed 15lbs 7 lol (although he had a really bad sockness bug since then) both my dh and I are short, but being so little really makes his head look out of proportion bless him.

OH isn't overly tall (5ft 11in) but James is def taking after him! I am glad.

James does have a big head though. He has always been between 25th-9th centile for weight but 50th centile for head circumference. His height went off the chart BUT I was measuring him myself so it may not be entirely accurate.

He was 13lb 12oz almost 2 weeks ago so I am sure he has passed the stone mark now!

I am having to wash his 6-9 month baby-grows as he is too long for his 3-6 months (all his other 3-6 month stuff fits though - his tops, jeans, trackies and footless baby-grows etc...)

That's great he's coming on good Nat, I think boys usually over take their dads? In most cases that I know its true like my brothers and my dad, my uncle and my gramps, OH and his dad. So James might be that bit taller.

I'm dreading to see what jackson grows to, OH is 6ft3 xxxxx

Bless our babies with their big heads, Although I think James sounds like he at least looks more in proportion, Jacob bless him resembles a lolly pop. With his dumpy short body then a mahoosive head, I just hope he looks more in proportion as he grows up. X

My BIL calls OH lollypop because when he was little he was so tall and skinny with a big(ish) round head haha.

Hope james is doing good hun, any signs of him teething yet ? xxxxx

No real signs of teething. Everything goes in the gob but he's been like that for months now.

He is a little bit more sicky (could be due to increase of saliva if he is teething) but he doesn't seem to be in any pain?

I can't believe he's 20 weeks old today [although I stopped counting in weeks ages ago so had to work it out ]

He is such a little character now. He loves music - he squeals over it, he loves having a bath, he loves watching the cat, he loves nappy off time. We've been having him in his highchair with us while we have dinner and so far he's played with green beans and pasta - both went straight to his mouth which is an excellent sign he is ready to begin weaning soonish.

He is such a good boy, he has slept through since he was 7 weeks (some nights he can be very restless but I've never had to get him up), he only cries if he is hungry or being dressed. He loathes having clothes put on.

As a first child he is an angel, I'd have another 10 if they were all like James LOL. I know that when he starts teething or gets poorly for the first time he could turn into a nightmare but so far so good!

I'm glad your the same about counting weeks I got all flustered cause the HV asked weeks and I replied he will be 3 month on the 9th. I felt quite bad.. But you eventually just give up with the weeks since we have been bloody counting weeks since pregnancy!!

We have such good boys. I had heard bad things about boys. Mainly from my mum, my brothers were so crabbit but so far jacksons been a wee dream and james is doing so well aswell. Seems so happy, but wise not to show how happy he is around the camera, he's a very private baby xxxxx

He was going mental yesterday talking to his Daddy, I sneaked the camera out (I was actually videoing him on my phone), he spotted me and just stares??

Luckily he is happy to smile, laugh and chatter to any visitors otherwise no-one would believe me when I say he is quite a happy boy LOL

Jackson came back from my mums on Sunday and stared at me and oh like blank for hours then eventually he went back to normal lol he talks away all the time now I can't wait till he's making sentences.

It's so funny that you have to sneak up on him just to gt him laughing, maybe he's just curious because your holding it infront of him. He might be curious of it. I've noticed if I hold the camera to the side and talk to Jackson and make him smile then take the pic kind of above side view I'll always get one should try that xxxx

Well James is now 15lbs 1oz - he missed the 14's completely [he was 13lbs 12oz at last weigh-in]

They are happy that he is following his line so we can go to monthly weigh-ins now, at last!

Everything is going well, being a Mummy is such a wonderful job.

I wouldn't say no to a lay-in though. Latest I have been in bed since he started sleeping through in January is 7:45am and that was just the once

As much as I love jackson, I love the lie in on a sunday, feel so re energized I could have coped otherwise! Youv done well for not giving him out to stay, goin it alone (obv oh is there but you know what I mean)

Aww, lovely to hear how well you are both doing exciting that you might start weaning soon - I'm not in too much hurry to start right now as Harry doesn't seem to be showing any signs... That's a great weight too!

I have been trying to video Harry laughing and he's exactly the same as James - refuses to obligel! And I know exactly what you mean about a lie in - sounds heavenly! Mind you I think of 6.30am as a lie in these days Think we might have to wait a while for that tho - like 5 years :/ xxx
