Flu Jab

I'm dreading it has anyone had it before? I've heard it hurts. I need it deffo as I had swine flu last year. Everyone getting it? x

I've been told to get the swine flu jab and the normal flu jab. However neither are in at my GP yet.

I'm tri hoping here - so sorry for butting in. lol

I've had both for a couple of years now, cos i have asthma - and work with vulnerable adults - as far as I was concerned the normal flu one was alright, the swine flu one stung a bit more, and I had sore arm (kinda heavy ish - like you get with flu) - for a couple of days.

But when you think about what the alternatives are - theres just no contest IMO.

I can't have them as I am allergic to poultry! So will be shutting myself in doors this winter

If I am offered it, I will be having it. I don't think it hurts loads as my son has to have it as has bad asthma, he never moans lol. I'm sure it will be fine hun x x

I had it at about 12 weeks Preg. Felt a bit under weather for a few days then was fine ! Doesn't hurt n e more than any other inj and takes about 10 seconds! X

I would too, why not. Take advantage of having it, think they start next month. Esp if you'll be breast feeding and your immune system will be lower x

I'm sure my docs were offering an alternative one if you had a poultry allergy????

I've gotta have mine as well, have been offered it because I'm pregnant, I'm not expecting it to hurt as much as other ordinary needles xxx
