Thanks Louise, i really didnt think id pick it up that quick :). I think its knitting that im doing but ill have a look at purl on you tube.

Im still dropping a few stitches so to get me used to it and to take my mind of ttc ive decided that im going to knit lots of different coloured squares and put them all together to make a knitted patchwork blanket, i know it will take me a while but it will keep me busy x x

Well done Louise, that's impressive, I've been thinking of trying to knit a blanket as I can do squares! (have pattern brain issues!), Mamas and papas have a theme called Gingerbread man, and the blanket is lots of bright stripes , changoing colour often, I won't be able to do it as well as that, but I'm gonna have a go as the blankets are sooo expensive and I'm ust going to copy there theme and do it myself.

Think I will start trying soon

knitting is fab :) and not just a old womans hobby lol im currently knitting my ds a jacket :)

My only venture into knitted goods: legwarmers for my labrador. They kept slipping down and he pulled them off and left them in the garden. There's gratitude..... Don' think any child would have been so bad as to deserve my efforts.
