Hi I am currently 6w 1d pregnant after my 2nd natural frozen embryo transfer.

I have a scan booked for Wednesday but have been taking pregnancy tests every few days for reassurance.

On Monday I did a FRER and the control line was hardly noticeable and test line dark, I read this is cus test line pulling all the die. I also did a clear blue digital which said 3+ weeks.

Yesterday I did another FRER the test line was still as dark but control line much more noticeable, and did one this morning and it’s even more noticeable. I am going out of my mind with worry especially as I was feeling tired from Saturday but Wednesday that stopped. I did a clear blue this morning and it said 3+ weeks. I had a MMC in September from my 1st fresh IVF so I am just so worried I dont know what to do, any advice or thoughts I would really appreciate xxx

I would go by the clear blue x

A 3+ on a clearblue digital is really great so I'd trust that. I hate clearblue plus tests but the digitals are a higher sensitivity and I'd trust those results. You can't mistake a 3+ result!

Your FRER lines sound positive anyway, but I wouldn't worry about line strength. It could be anything, too much urine, too little urine, too dilute urine etc. A line is a line. All sounds good to me. Sorry to hear about your mc. With a mmc is so easy to panic it will happen again until you see baby on the screen. But as hard as it is not to worry, your chance of another mmc isn't high hun. There's no reason this baby won't be perfectly fine. Fx for Wednesday and congratulations on your pregnancy xx

Tests make us go crazy so try to avoid them. I did a test at 6wks and it was lighter than one at 4wks. It worried me sick. Like u I felt I had more energy and thought the worst (I had a chemical in may last year). Anyway, I had an early scan at 7+1 and thankfully everything looked ok. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
Really hope it all works out for you. Goodluck!

Thank you so much for respond ladies.

The strange thing is the test line is staying the same darkness and I don't think it could get darker. The test I did today were from a new FRER pack and the control line was so much darker than yesterday, almost the same as test line, so I diluted the urine with about half water, and the test line came up same darkness but control line was slightly lighter, I would upload photo but cant figure how too. I dont think I would be so worried but I dont have any symptoms at all apart from fuller boobs and bloating. Sounds weird but I was enjoying the tiredness when I had it.

Babbyboo your story is making me have some hope, funny you should respond to me because I was reading through the thread in 1st tri earlier and I noticed you there and it gave me hope. How many weeks are you now? How do you feel now? When you went to the scan was you expecting the worst? I will be 6w 5days if I get that far. Thank you for your kind well wishes xxx

I'm 7+5 now so not too far ahead of you. I was trying to b prepared for the worst at the scan i think it's impossible to do that. There was a couple in the waiting room while we were thinking there &they'd obviously been given bad news. It was heart breaking to see.
I'm back to being tired (mayb not as bad as at the beginning) and feel a bit nauseous so I'm eating and drinking more than usual. Other than that (& bigger boobs:-) I wouldn't know I'm pregnant.

Hope this helps. It's such a worrying time.

Ive also had similar and i think when you get to a certain.gestation then hcg arent picked up through tests so might a good idea to stop doing them if you can as theyll only cause increased anxiety. When is you EDD? you could join either set or oct mummies thread (unless you have already). This might help when your feeling worried...we are all in this together hun x

Thank you ladies. I havent done anymore tests because I agree just causes more stress. But I have been having light cramps, TMI but put a tampon in this morning and there was some light pink blood down the side of it, so I am not feeling very hopeful.

Melly I have read all through the thread you have mentioned, my EDD is 28th September, I was going to see what happens at my scan Wednesday first.

If I read correctly I think you have a scan tomorrow? If so best of luck xxxxxx

Thanks hopefulmum! Good luck for your scan on weds. If you feel ready come and join us after youre scan xx

Hi I just wanted to update this post for anyone who reads it in the future like I have gone through reading other posts. We had a scan today at 6 weeks 4 days, we saw the heartbeat, obviously its still very early days but so far everything is on track for how it should be. Symptoms wise, I fee totally normal, full of energy, apart from heavier boobs, slightly sensitive nipples, bloated on the evenings and very light cramps now and then. Also even though my pregnancy is from a frozen embryo transfer it was totally natural so I am not taking any drugs therefore all my symptoms are my own. Thank you to everyone who wrote to me to reassure me, I was having a complete melt down at the weekend, after my MMC I couldn't help but expect the worst but you guys really did reassure me xxx

Thats great hopefulmum.....do you feel ready to join us in sept mummies thread?.hopefully see you over there x

Fabulous news hun! Congrats so glad it worked out for you xx
