First +OPK!

Hi all,

Currently on CD13 and got my first +OPK this evening. This is the first month I've been doing this so can I just confirm - a positive one means I'm going to ovulate in the next day or so - not that I have ovulated today...? Or have I got that the wrong way round?

That's right SPC - ovulation occurs roughly 24-36 hours after the LH surge detected on the OPKs.

Thanks guys but not sure we'll be lucky this month. We've only managed to BD once in the lead up to ovulation as I had my wisdom teeth out and have been feeling rough as.

Will give it another go tonight and fingers crossed!

That's great news! least u know your body is doing what it should! I haven't had a +OPK yet! Don't know if its because of the time of day I am testin (usually around 7pm) or i am just not ovulating? Can this happen though as i have all the other signs i am (CM, CP and obv AF)?
