Finding out sex of baby - Yes or no???

We found out. I think Id always find out given the chance.

It meant Jackson was Jackson from 20weeks, easier to know and bond with, plus.. I couldnt imagine only having a neutral(team yellow wardrope), nursery etc. I loved that everything was ready for him coming - and in the "correct" colour lol..

Do whats right. It is a personal choice.

We found out, he's our first baby - I've loved decorating his nursery / buying clothes and bonding with 'him' as a little boy.
It's a very personal choice - I imagine the gender is an extra little surprise but the 'made me push harder' thing always makes me laugh' a family member (who disapproved of us finding out the gender) said that to me and I was thinking: in the epic throws of labour desperate to meet my baby, when they tell me to push I'm hardly going to be like 'nah it's cool I already know it's a boy'
Do whatever's right for you and hubby xxx

Haha that made me laugh summer! I'm glad we found out too, has made it easier for me to bond as I did struggle at the beginning of my pregnancy and I feel so much closer to my baby now xx

I've bought a few neutral bits not a lot. I've put the money aside and once the baby is here I will go shopping for his/her wardrobe, plus everybody buys you bits.

Plus you don't want to buy to much little stuff and end up with a huge baby. My friends just had a baby 9 weeks early in July so he's tiny and can't fit into the stuff she has bought for certain seasons xx

I'd chip in with 'don't buy new'. It's honestly not worth it. I have bags and bags of clothes from my LOs first year; the majority still have tags on as he grew too quickly to wear them. The rest were worn a handful of times and are good as new. I'm now a devotee of a local FB Group for Mums in my postcode and buy 'second hand' bundles for certain age ranges through that (e.g. 0-3months, 3-6 months etc.) I've never had anything that isn't less than immaculate and have saved an absolute fortune....

Sorry, know I took that off topic there..... apologies! Just while the moment presented itself! x

Hi girls. We stayed team yellow!! Thanks for your replies and help xx

Great news Lisa, very exciting xx

Aw so exciting lisa! I've done it both ways, team yellow with my first baby and found out with second. Having experienced both I preferred the surprise and if I had another I'd be team yellow again, it's just magical :) it has been a lot easier to get organised this time knowing the gender and being able to sort clothes and do the nursery etc, but it's nothing that couldn't have waited until baby was here xxx
