I heard that some people find out, but keep it just a secret between them and their OH. It's weird, I thought finding out was a relatively new/ unusual thing, but when i tell people I don't want to find out, they go, "oh, really?" although it's mainly those who already have kids that say that!

I think it is quite new, my Aunt had my little cousin 4 years ago and I don't think she was told. Keeping it between you and OH seems a nice idea xxx

We've told family but haven't told friends. It means that there is still a little surprise for some people when she arrives. Trouble is now the family know they are asking about names, well we don't want them to know so that there is still an element of surprise for them and it's hard to keep it a secret especially when people suggest the name we have chosen...we have to pretend that we don't like it!
