Feels like I have Period Pain :(

I've been having cramps this afternoon, feels like I'm going to start my period, just been to loo, wiped and there were a few spots of blood on the tissue....

Now I'm 36 weeks (practically) so not sure if I should be worrying or if this is normal? Second pregnancy, but been 10 years since first, so it's almost new again, and I can't remember....

Anyone know if this is to be expected this late on?

Oh I dont know but I would call midwife to be on safe side.....

Thanks girlies, I'm leaving work now anyway, so I'll ring MW from the carpark, hopefully it's nothing, but the pains in my stomach have got me gritting my teeth, lol. I don't do pain though, so probably just me being a wuss!

N to be honest better safe the sorry n ring mw as it could possible be a uti?

but to me it sounds like the norm n the spotting is either Lil bits of plug or ur cervix softening! But better safe so ring mw x x x

No hun, my first was born on her due date
Well the spotting stopped anyway, as did the cramps, so not sure what that was about. MW just said to monitor the blood loss with a pad.
I see the nurse at the surgery today about something else, so might ask her if she can have a quick check and make sure all is okay.
