Feeling under the weather on stimm drugs, first IVF cycle

Hi ladies

Did anyone else feel unwell on the stimm drugs during IVF?

I have been out for afternoon tea with some friends and had some chai tea which I think contains caffeine, something I have stopped having recently, now I feel shaky, my stomach feels upset and I feel odd, a bit like after a night out drinking vodka red bulls! I am hoping it's just the caffeine and not the stimm drugs...

How has everyone else felt on the stimm drugs?

I have my follicle tracking scan on Tuesday and they said I need 3 follicles of 17mm or above. I got the impression that if we don't our cycle won't go ahead. Praying this won't happen could not bear to get this far and then have to stop!!

Anyone else had any issues with this?

Hi, sorry I've only just seen this. I felt unwell on stimms - not shaky but really tired, sickly, headaches, just generally feeling a bit crap most of the time. I didn't have a great response to stims and only had 2 follicles in the right size bracket on day 10 with a couple more coming up behind them. My hospital made the decision to trigger that day though despite their policy being that you need 3 of the right size to trigger. I think this was because I have low amh and wasn't going to produce a lot of eggs anyway. I'm the end I got 3 eggs, 2 mature and injected through icsi - both fertilised and put back on a day 2 transfer and currently pregnant with 1. It's not always the big numbers game you expect! I hope everything went ok at your next scan xx
