:hugs: Samira has silent reflux, and when she's got a good phase she sounds you like you describe (during bad phases she has other symptoms as well). Gaviscon hasn't worked for us, either. Maybe your GP could try prescribing something else? Anyway, you're doing really well for persevering with bf-ing and should be proud of yourself, I know how disheartening it can be! :hugs:

Our maternity ward has infant feeding specialists who come out to visit if need be, they are attached to the community midwives. Maybe ring up and find out if your hospital has them too?

This was going to be my next suggestion my hospital has the same :)
 
i dont have any advice i just want to say you are no way a failure, youve managed to breast feed this long- and you've persevered through the really hard times so dont ever think you've failed! you've done amazingly well. i really hope you manage to get some help soon xxxxxx
