~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Yeah. I hand my notice in in January. I'm glad to be leaving yet my boss still scares me! I'm 32!

Oh, I clicked into this thread and it took me to the first pages. Sniff. Seems so long ago!

Anyway, I was coming to say grrr, I left E for a minute to go the bathroom and he unwrapped my baby secret santa gift. Lol. In the bkick of an ete he had shredded all the paper, little goofball.

Clairey how is your mouth now?

Isn't that the second time he's done it?!? I think he's trying to tell you something!

It's actually feeling loads better thanks just a bit uncomfortable eating x

The first time he swiped the small extra gift I had for the package, this time he opened the main gift. He has the same gift for Christmas!

Glad your mouth isn't so bad

I hate that I'm limited by my own strength. I hate asking a man to do something for me & then having to wait for what feels like a fortnight for them to do it when I could have done it in two seconds!!!! Argh!

I hate that too, hopes. In fact I'm not very good at waiting on other people on anything. I'd rather do it myself!

Harry slept through!!!! 8-6.10!!!! Yay! He then snoozed in with us until 7.30 when Jack woke up! Looks lije leaving him to wriggle works although he fell asleep scrunched down the foot of his cot and woke up scrunched at the head!!! I never heard him moving so i've no idea how he did it lol.

Have a good one ladies xx

We had such a strange day yesterday. He had a half hour nap in the morning. Then 2 hour nap from 2.20-4.20pm. That means he should have been ready to go down at 8pm. Come quarter to 8 if fell asleep drinking his bottle so Billy put him down... cue hysterical screaming for 40 minutes... so I went and got him and brought him to the living room where he stayed wide awake and hyper until 10pm!!

Odd odd odd

Myself & O just took his great granny out for a birthday lunch....75 years old. :) She was so proud of her G-grandson, showing him off to everyone she knew that I'm pretty sure her food was cold when she got around to eating it. I, on the other hand, thought sod this & had a hot meal! :)

I never leave the bedroom with E after bedtime, I read somewhere, I think on evolutionaryparent that staying in the sleep room when you expect baby to sleep can really help with their internal thought process and help their body clock recognise it as a sleep time, rather than when he wakes bringing baby out of the sleep room into the lounge or whatever.

Ladies. I hope this isn't jinxing things. But I am going to share anyway. I appear to have gained a baby who sleeps. He put himself to sleep the night before last which is a first. But the past week has been SO much better. Only waking for the odd night feed and having lovely day time naps. I have changed nothing but after almost nine months I am just glad to have had more than 90 minutes consecutive sleep.

I have been rewrapping baby secret santa and have it all stashed away in a box ready to post once one other part is here. I think this santa swap is one of the things I am most looking forward to for Christmas this year. I bought E some "My First Christmas" stuff, a PJs set, a bib and two baby gros.

My mum said I should dress E in proper clothes now (trousers, jumpers, t shirts etc.)l At home where it is hot he wears a vest or a short romper if we go out. I have been dressing him in a vest and a babygro here with slippers for the gripper bits when he stands up. He has his whole life to wear proper clothes and I am lazy when it comes to fiddling with socks and trousers and a vest for a nappy change. So I bought him some soft trousers and a few t shirts and jumpers but they are so ugly, and all the jumpers and cardigans have ridiculous hoods. He didn't look comfy in it either so back to a cosy baby gro.

Oh wow! Fingers crossed talulah! Hope it continues....

I love babies in baby gros too. So many children's clothes are like mini versions of adult clothes and I think some of it just looks wrong :/

My problem is that I can't leave him in the room screaming because Dylan has school the next day and obviously can't sleep through it.

Sick of playing musical beds!

So so glad you're getting some sleep T!!! Well done little Eli!

Jack is a little clothes horse and suits anything he wears, probably because he's skinny. Now he's a little older i do dress him like a little boy when we go out to dinner in a shirt etc but usually he's in jeans and a comfy top or jogging bottoms. Harry is podgy so has to wear elasticated waist bands or dungarees. I agree that babies should always be comfy. We use babygro's mainly for bedtime although if we don't go anywhere (like today) we stay in our pj's x

Oh sorry Clairey. I forgot about Dylan.

I think once he is walking properly I will put the babygro away. I have separate bedtime babygros - all the plain colour ones and then all the funky patterned ones are his day time ones.

Break from punching each other! Lol

Totally totally fed us today he's done nothing but moan cry and have massive tantrums. Got kicked in the stomach earlier and my hair pulled out... all because I saved his life! Terrible mummy!

He's been handed to dad who's just home and I'm sitting in a dark room, rocking and mumbling to the voices in my head

And what's everyone's views on chocolate at this age? I've managed to source a dairy and soya free advent calendar

I've got O an advent calendar. Each to their own but it's Christmas so I think why not. The rest of us will be stuffing our chops.

Jasmine has a peppa pig advent calendar which is going in her 1st December box! It contains advent calendar, Christmas pjs, that's not my Santa and that's not my snowman book, two other Christmas books and a Christmas jumper! Can't wait to give it to her!
