~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Not sure if its my fibromyalgia, tiredness, hormones, I'm getting a cold, or a mixture of several of the above, but I feel terrible!!!
Just been and taken some beechems ultra tablet things, but I ache all over, I have a banging headache, I'm restless, I'm hot then cold, and I'm so tired but can't sleep.... Really do feel like I was hit by a double decker bus followed swiftly by Mike Tyson!!!
T is on a night shift on Wednesday, so will be staying up all night tonight into tomorrow morning (Tuesday to Wednesday) think I may be taking a sleeping tablet and having an early night, leave the little man with his daddy!!!

Tired Mummy to Colby Jacques born 4/2/2013

Harry's just had his 2nd feed of the night and his snoozing in my arms. He never fully wakes in the night and has given us two 3hr blocks of sleep so far. Hopefully we'll get another 3hrs before Jack wakes us up lol.

Vicky have you tried putting whatever top you were wearing thay day in with Alex when you lay him down? Or try putting a bit of pressure on his belly with your hand once you've laid him down so he thinks he's still being held? Then very slowly releasing the pressure once he's settled? Might work?

Right mini mans finished his usual epic burping/farting so i'm off xx

William finally fell asleep at 11:40 ish, up again and feeding, feeling the tiredness creeping in tonight

Wow 1 day off the forum and I can't catch up with this thread  Hope everyone's well? Cescas' at MILs for tonight and tomorrow night then back Wednesday afternoon... Extra sleep for me... He he

Ben's been a little darling today :) He's so cute! Finally spending a bit more time awake so I've been going all soppy lol Much to OHs' amusement...

Only problem is I'm so stressed and so happy, both at the same time that (as usual) I can't drift off! But at least it's for a better reason tonight!! :D xx

Just gave O another feed. He puked up afterwards again. Just not as much as the first time. I wonder what's causing it?

Hopes, babies do puke... All the time! So long as they don't get really upset and grumpy when it happens it's nothing to worry about :) Back when I had Cesca, my health visitor said it's kind of like an overflow. They fill themselves up on more milk than they need so then their body spits some back up. Lol... It made me giggle. :) xx

Just read your' post about feeds/puke. Follow his lead. Give him milk when he wants it and don't panic if he goes longer than usual without some. He's still really young so the chances of him falling into a perfect routine just yet are slim to none. xx

I figured he wasn't sick as in ill but I was worried because he's never done it before & tonight he did it twice.

Vicky would you consider giving him a dummy? He may well be using you for comfort? There have been a few threads on here over the years about BF babies being alot more settled once they've been given a dummy? Of see if he'll suck on your little finger? Jack spent hours with mine on his mouth in the early days! If he is using you as comfort abd you find something different you will probably get a break x

Morning ladies!

Still a chilled out little nan who hasn't frowned since he started Colief!! Amazing stuff!! x

He has had a dummy but spits it out most of the time. He sleeps beautifully in my arms its just as soon as he is put down he wakes and cries.

He used to sleep a good 4 hours straight at night but past 3 days he is having none of it.

Have you tried swaddling?

I can't believe you're saying morning!! I have had literally NO sleep. Not a wink. I've been laying here awake all night while my boys are fast asleep... I think a trip to the doctors might be necessary. I'd hoped it wouldn't :( xx

Yep i swaddle but doesn't seem to be working. I am hoping its just a growth spurt as he is 3 weeks i cant take much more of these endless days and nights. I just want to be able to put him down to sleep.

Sorry you haven't slept either heppi its horrible as you feel crap all day.

Well my little angel has again slept from 8 last night :yay: just a shame I've been awake most of the night :wall: I have lots on my mind but grr how annoying.

Got her jabs today I really hope she's ok with them I'm so nervous because she screams and cries all the time now so god knows how she'll be after these :-/ also gonna speak to the dr about her, but I just dunno whether she has reflux or whether its just her 8 week leap? She's only started really badly in the last few days, and I really don't like to give her meds unless necessary... It's a bloody minefield!

Hope all is well x

Aww goodluck Diane! Skylers so good to sleep so well!

Tallulah, I was wondering about Jenni too. HL28 hasn't been on for a while either.
Also do you have any routine for Eli? It's so good he slept in a 6 hour stretch. Mine only does that if I give her formula.

Hope you all have good days ladies!xxx

Well jas took an expressed bottle from daddy at 8.30 slept till 2.20. Had a quick feed and went back off again until 5. Now she's just up and starving! She's so cute when she's waking up but she's bloody noisy!! X
