Yes all the time. In hospital I asked the pediatrician as I was worried and he said it was perfectly normal for newborns to breathe like that. I also read somewhere online recently that it was normal.
It really freaks me out. I've got to admit I really can't wait for Chris to get home today. Even tho he can't feed her as stuff I just find it all so much easier when he's here!
Oh I'm the same! Much prefer my husband being home! I have to give my one her folic acid and iron in syringes. She hates it so much and almost every time she chokes and makes the most scary noise ever! I always have to put her in the recovery position and pat her back, she scares the crap out of me! I give her the medicine so slowly and even that sets her off.
Haha to you ladies who are using dentinox... Do your lo's love it as much as Alfie does... LOL this is his dentinox face proper screws it up and gets all pissed off at me lol x
Hey I'm finally getting around to posting in here!! For those of you who don't know, my little boy was born on 8th March, making him 2 weeks old today!!
Feeding's going ok, he has 4-5 ounces roughly every 3/4 hours during the day and 4/5 hours over night. He really struggles with bringing up wind though so we've started him on Infacol (last night) to see if that helps. It appears to be so far but only time will tell. No colic here please!!
His birth weight was 8lbs 15, at 5 days it had gone down to 8lbs 14 then at our 11 day discharge appointment he was a chunky 9lbs 3!!
xx
Mummy to Francesca (born at 13:27 on 10/08/11 weighing 7lbs 6oz, 5 days early) and Benjamin (born at 238 on 08/03/13 weighing 8lbs 15oz, 1 day late).
Haha he full on scrunches his face up and kicks his legs he really hates the taste of it lol got a video of when we first started giving him infacol, that was halarious too haha poor thing b he got used to that. Dentinox he just tries to spit out mist the time but when it does go down it works wonders! X
Sorry I can't catch up much ladies having a hectic day here! But phoned dr about her spots and he wants me to come down so off there at 4. Feel like I live at my doctors they must think I'm such an over reactive new mum!
Ha ha Maddiie! Alfie looks so cute! Blake pulls a similar face when we give him infacol- I just tell him not to fuss as it's not that bad lol
Where do you ladies buy Colief? I've just looked at ASDA online and they don't seem to do it. Boots will be closed when OH comes home. I think LLoyds Pharmacy will be open? We don't have a Tesco near here
Urgh sorry if I offend anyone but I've just seen a girl put a picture on fb of her little girl and her new earrings. Her baby must only be 6 months old. Grrrrrr makes me mad. Why would you do that how does she know her little girl would want her ears pierced when she's older?!
I had mine done when I was alot older as a birthday present and my mum was like are you sure for bloody ages. I'm all for piercings and whatnot those of you who have had a nose my my fb will see I've got my lip pierced and my ears done twice even had small 4ml stretchers in my ears up until recently because Paul brought be some lovely earrings so I shrunk them back down, also have scaffolding and a hoop in my ears too now as you can tell from what I've got I don't have anything against them just not on babies! It makes me so so mad!
