This time last week jasmine had just arrived! It's been the toughest week of my life so far but I think we are getting there!!

However she has slept a lot today so thinking we may be in for our first awful night!! X

Does anyone know when you can have sex after a c section? I have no idea how an orgasm will feel with the wound as it still feels a little tender when I've overdone it?

Diane, how was your day if visiting?

Day 1 of our routine went ok. She ate, slept, washed, played at the allocated times. She's been in her Moses basket in our bedroom since 7pm. We have a video camera with an app so we can watch her on our iPhones. Wouldn't be able to leave her alone otherwise.
Ill see how the rest of the evening/night goes!

1st time hubby was really concerned he'd hurt me but we jus took it slow x
Me on top is better - hubby on top hurt inside so hes let off doing the work lol

We had our first family day out today! Went to mamas and papas so has could spend her welcome to the world money! She bought herself a new playmat had to feed her in the back of the car after tho haha!

She's getting a bit sicky after every Feed (not a lot at all) but I don't like it! So overprotective of her already!!

She's currently having cuddles with daddy - he's amazing with her!! X

So just had two more nappy explosions - one straight after the other. The last one did appear to have a few seeds in. I can't help but worry but chris says she's fine as if there was anything wrong she wouldn't be feeding? X

Harry just woke so i picked him up while OH sorted a feed and he's nodded off in my arms the lazy little pipsqueak!!! x

I knew I hadn't fed jas enough yesterday! Usually she's up at 3ish then sleeps till 6ish but now we are up at 4 too!

On the plus side - her horrible cord has fallen off

We had a poop up the wall situation the other day too. Heh.

Eli did well at his neonatologist check up yesterday, his lung looks good and he now weighs 3552 grams, he was 3240 grams at birth. She was pleased with his progress. We go back when he is eight weeks old.

How lovely to get out Nicky. Eli had down a yellow, watery poop when the doctor took his nappy off yesterday and she was thrilled with that poop so I'd say all is normal.

My parents are arriving here on Monday, can't wait to see them. My husband went back to work yesterday, but only mornings.

Eli is two weeks old today, I had a big cry when I thought back to this time two weeks ago and he was struggling to breatheand the paeds were dashing about trying to fix him. Time flies.

My lo just woke me up hungry, she had 700ml yesterday so I thought she would def sleep again till 8ish but no such luck lol! Maybe she's having a growth spurt! Oh, and inspired by this thread we dtd last night and it was fine I felt sore afterwards but I'm so pleased all felt "normal" down there again! Think we tried too early last time x

Diane, spoke too soon about the routine, she was fine until 2am and after that she didn't settle. I think in going to increase her 10pm feed.

That's awesome about dtd! Yay! I haven't yet, I really want too but am a little scared!

Definitely trial and error. Plus she's such a noisy sleeper - grunts, whimpers, stretching and kicking. Even when she's not awake she's making some kind of commotion!xxx

Morning ladies,

Just had 9 hours sleep, numnuts kept CJ downstairs with him all night..... Thing is I feel worse for it, and my boobs are killing me, think it might be a mammoth express session in a min or two!

I will try and catch up on the thread in a while, feeling dazed and confuddled at the moment!!!

I love it when my boobs are full and then I empty them. Kind of like when you really need to pee and you eventually go.

I'm weird I know.

I think I've found a solution to Moses basket sleeping!

Roll up a towel and tuck it next to the baby so they feel tucked up as though they're in your arms. I did this and she self soothed herself to sleep. Lets see what happens tonight! That'll be the real test!View attachment 33916
