~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Aww she's soooo cute!!! Look at all that hair!!!

Morning everyone!

Sorry it's been a while!

Caught up on a little of the thread whilst feeding grumpy butt.

HL28 I used the medela mini electric beast pump my sister has one and after my recommendation so does a friend of mine. It's easy to use, clean and is portable too :-) you can use it plugged into the wall or it has a space for batteries.

Alfies still a beast at night and will just cry cry cry we just keep trying everything. Hence why I'm not on here as much. Currently trying to feed him feed myself and write this haha!

So how is everyone?

Nicky how bare you feeling after your first week as a mum?

Sassy I hope your feeling better and havnt killed numbnuts off yet!

Babybee have you managed to have any outings as a twosome yet? :-)

Oh and Alfie was weighed yesterday and he's catching up with everyone... 7lb 6oz!
We went to visit a friend of mine who's just had a little boy. Was weird holding a newborn that's bigger than my 6 week old! Haha

Love love love xxx

Hey Maddie!!! Aww 'Grumpy Butt' lol! He looks like a little angel to me!

We have been on outings by ourselves! We've been to the park, Sainsburys and the local shopping centre: Primark, topshop, H&M and new look! All we bought were tights for the little madam.

Oh dear my towel trick is wearing off! She is kicking off big time. The little terror!

Xxx

Grumpy butt and my breakfast :-)

Awh I'm glad you have gotten out and about. Once you have done it for the first time it's easy as you know what you need to take and how to time it right etc :-)

And he is a grumpy butt haha. Everyone thinks he's an angel apart from mummy and daddy.

Don't you hate it when your sat and know there's a load of shit you need to do. I really keep on top of the apartment I'm very house proud but Paul's left it in a mess this morning, you will be surprised how much mess one man can make in the hour he's up getting ready before work! I can see the draws opposite our bed are left open from where he got his boxers and socks out and it'd irritating me lol. Yeah I'm a bit weird lol x

Omg I have the exact same thing!!! Mine makes his breakfast and leaves the butter and milk out! All the time! He also leaves his boxers hanging on the shower door. I could smack him each and every time especially when I make such an effort to keep it tired.

Bloody men!

Lol Maddie, in that photo it looks like he's having a teenage moment and not talking to you!

Haha he's gone back to sleep so I'm going to drag my butt out of bed and sort out this mess. My pet hate is how paul makes toast and leaves all the crumbs on the kitchen side. I could kill him some mornings. X

Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Ahhhhh Quinn was a nitemare last night :( soooo tired today x
He wouldn't settle from 11pm-3am he slept on me for about half hr to hr about 1 I think his tummy was hurting as I was rubbing it an he was passing wind and then settlw for 10mins but then would wake crying again :(

Finally went in his moses basket at 4-6 then fed and back to sleep in basket 6.30 -8.15 xx

I wanted to scream last night - sleep deprivation is worse form of torture with a crying/unsettled baby :(

Blake was a little sod last night too! He was great until the 3am feed, then he refused to go back to sleep. I overdid it yesterday by going out for a walk- my scar is killing me  So when OH was losing his rag last night and Blake was crying I was crying too!

Maddiie you've just described my house! I got up to find OH had left his towel on the bathroom floor, dirty socks on the living room floor, toast crumbs on the kitchen worktop, biscuit crumbs on the sofa  Everytime Blake has a nap I'm cleaning when I should be resting :wall2:

Jus phoned HV as its started again him not settling and she said could be a touch of colic an 1st line is infacol which I thought so im off to the shops soon x hate seeing him struggling with a gurgling tummy
Jus burped him loads an after a few attempts hes taken about 10mins breast an is now asleep on my chest so gona go out to shops now so hopefully he'll have a good sleep and ill have the infacol for next feed x

DW we are using infacol and I have my lovely little boy back!!!!

We have walked to the retail park in anlaby while daddy is asleep, and I'm now sat in m&s having the largest hot chocolate they do with lots of cream and marshmallows on it!!! Mmmm mmmmm!!!! Little man is fast asleep in the pram despite been due a feed, don't really wanna wake him up!!!
Gonna have a look in asda while we are here as they have a sale on, see if I can find something nice for me, and him :-) xx

I'm using infacol here too, but looking forward to using Gripe water from Monday as he'll be 1 month old. I've found that we need to use a double dose on Blake as 1 pipette full wasn't doing the job.

I used Gripe water when she was 3 weeks old but I just dipped her dummy in it so she only had a tiny bit. It really helped though!xx

Well 1st dose given an we had loads wind up stopped feeding 3 times to wind an had good feed in much shorter time :)
Lots of man farts too (they blooming stink) xx he's now half asleep and looks more content on my chest xx

Fx this works cos last night was aweful x
How quickly did u girls notice a difference?? Xx

Have any of you been through the hourly night feeds yet? I've been heating/reading about them and I'm dreading it already! When do they hit? X

DW I found infacol worked after around 2 days.

Nicky, what are the hourly feeds? They sound a little horrendous!

Xx
