Hi everyone just thought I'd pop in. To say I had my baby girl Sophie on Thursday 28 march weighing 8.15 wasn't Actuslly due till the 2nd April so been following there thread. Xx

Clairey I had antenatal depression so we knew from the word go that the chances of it developing into postnatal depression were very high... But I was actually diagnosed by my psychiatrist at 6 weeks post birth. I was on anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication and sleeping tablets for 3 months, then I went to just sleeping tablets. Then my Mum died and I went back on anti-depressants for a few weeks. I would have been on them all for longer but I'm somebody that will get through the worst then cope alone rather than take tablets. If you're concerned speak to your health visitor. I'm going to when she next comes out (a weeks time) but I'm awaiting an appointment from a cognitive behaviour therapist anyway so there's not much they can do for me just yet xx

Congratulations kat! What a lovely surprise having Sophie come a bit early!

I have rediscovered the joys of a dream feed! It's taken us a while to get organised at nights and have distinct feeds rather than hours of feeding and refusal to go back down but as we've made some progress on that in the last week (Jack is now almost 4 weeks) we've gotten the bottles out and introduced a dream feed. All i can say is I've had 5 hours sleep in one go! Bliss I can bear night feeds now - this is more along the lines of what i remember with my daughter and was prepared for when jack was born.

Clocks have gone foward so just minus an hour .. I thought i got a 2 hour sleep between his last feed but was only an hour

I'm 100% convinced my poor little Harry has silent reflux

He fits 9/10 symptoms. We're going to the Docs ASAP to hopefully get some help.

I'm feeling terrible because I was beginning to feel a bit resentful for him being here and taking away so much of my time with Jack (makes me feel utterly shit) and the whole time the poor little mite has been constantly screaming in pain I feel like such an evil mother for feeling bad for him being here x

You are an AMAZING mum hunny these babies are tough going so don't be to hard on yourself your doing a grand job xx

We just had our first feed of the night, little man went 5 1/2 hours, he seems so much more settled and hasn't had gaviscon since 9am!!!! Yaaaaay!!!
Just put him back into his basket, hopefully he will go straight to sleep as was nodding off in my arms, but knowing him he will fight for a while!!!

I'm not complaining about the fact that I can happily survive on just a couple of hours sleep. It comes in handy with 2 kiddies... But I really WANT to sleep! Gahh!! OH and both my babies are zonked so why aren't I?! xx

I often wish I could be like my brother, or my OH, they could both sleep on a clothes line!!!
Think my brother gets it from my grandad, during WW2 he slept through an air-raid on the RAF base he was on, and when he woke up 90% of the base had been blown up round him.....I really need that skill.... Mind you then again it has it's downsides..... If numnuts falls asleep and he has CJ, he doesn't wake up if little man cries, he sleeps through it all, hence I do all the night feeds.... Oh yeah and the majority of the day ones!!!! Hmmmm rant over!!!

Well jus been to check the lil man with my mum and he took the ebm at 11 then slept until 3 I.e4am with clock change!!!!!! Bloody typical xx

Lol! I used to wear ear plugs with lily cos she was so loud! Either jack is quieter or I've gotten better at passing out and ignoring anything other than a cry!
