~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I'm so not crafty like you lot! But I am going to make Spencer his own snowglobe during the week just as a wee keepsake. Just need to find a nice Christmas figure to put inside it!

Yay, they are fab. I did salt dough hand prints yesterday with E, just need to paint them. Going to be sure to put the year on the back and then do them every year.

We had an awful, even by our standards, night. Onr stretch of 1hr 40 mins where he was asleep was the longest. I am shattered. And headachy. And grumpy. But at about 3am when I was close to losing mymind, I had E snuggled in my arms, he was in that half awake, half asleep state, he opened his eyes and looked up into my face with the deepest loving look, smiled, closed his eyes and gave a big contented sigh. Love him.

Love this girl so so much! She's just so beautiful!!!!

sorry for the soppy post! Just that way out this morning! X

Well tess has been improving so much with her sleep - slept through 5 nights out if the last 7 but poor Emma woke up covered in puke at 2 am this morning , she was very sorry for herself for a bit but as soon as we took her back upstairs she was hyper!! Took 2 hours altogether but she is still asleep now. Cue lots of forced cheery smiles this morning!!!

So much love on this thread this morning. I got woke by a smack in the face, followed by a big slobbery baby kiss so I guess we're 50/50 in this house this morning.

Spencer slept okay.

But I've woke up with massive toothache and and abscess that makes my face look like a hamster chewing a rabbit :-(

I've no idea but even if there is, I won't be stepping foot near one. I have the worst ever dentist phobia, I can't even walk past the one at the end of my road. I walk a mile detour to avoid it.

Last time I had one... was Exactly a year ago today weirdly. 5 days before my wedding. I just managed to burst it which I know is disgusting lol but I was desperate!

I have one child who is very awake, cries anytime he's put down and has been sick about 4 times

And another child that's got out of bed about 8 times so far... with requests of snacks, drinks, a movie in bed, a glass of spilled water all over the cables and an apparent tummy ache.

No sleep for us tonight!

finally got round to talking to oh about mil and her lack of responsibility when it comes to lo. I told him that while I'm happy for her to have contact she has shown that she cannot manage her needs when it comes to naps and feeding and because of this I didnt want lo to be left alone with her for any length of time. Suprisingly he agreed! He normally takes his families side on everything no matter about right or wrong but mil sent him a bitchy text yesterday about not having ruby this morning so I think he's finally seen she's not always all sweetness and light, yay for progress!!!

I've also just asked my best friend to be Ruby's godmother, yay!

o no clairey! here have some strength *doing whooshing motions* I hope it doesn't last all night!

Good for you kat, glad oh agreed! What is he going to say to her?

Biggest one fell asleep about half an hour ago and smallest one is still screaming in his cot.

Just tearing my hair out. Dylan is sleeping in our bed, Billy's on the couch and I'm in Dylan's bed. I feel so Sorry for Dylan not even being able to sleep in his own room because of Spencer. No wonder he's going off the rails, two new siblings this year both with major needs

poor Dylan, unfortunately there's not alot u can do about a screamy spencer in his room unless u can magically grow an extra couple of rooms onto your place!

I'm not planning on telling mil anything, I've told oh many times he can deal with his family and I will deal with mine! (mine are mostly lovely his are mostly selfish and overbearing lol)

Ah lucky you having nice family!

Well I bid you goodnight! Smallest one is finally asleep but for how long is anyone's guess. School run at 7am so need some beauty sleep x

Ah Clairey, I remember what it was like to have a screaming baby brother and I remember thinking I'd never want kids because if be tired all the time. Then I would roll over and go to sleep whilst my mum dealt with him. It'll be the same for Dylan, he probably just thinks who in their right mind would want a baby but sleeps fine.
Saying that I hope Spencer settles for you. Poor thing and poor you.

Kat, good news about oh talking to mil. Must be so frustrating for you. But mil has had plenty of times to prove herself and hasn't so I don't blame you at

Talulah was it you who was asking about non-plastic toys? I bought E this for Christmas:

I got it in Costco for £25. xx

Oh Clairey, I hope you got some sleep.

Kat that is great that your husband agreed about MIL.

That looks great babybee, thanks. E would love something like that.

We had a bad night. Yawn. He went to bed at 7pm, then woke at 9pm, 11.30pm, 1.20am, 2am, 3.55am, 5.15am and at 6am when he woke again I gave up and we are up for the day. Little monkey.

Urgh for bad nights :( We were up for 2 hours in the night again last night, then up for the day at 6.15. I was expecting it tbh, he's had two days of rubbish naps due to Lily's party yesterday and just having a bad day before that. So it was bound to catch up with us sometime! I've really got to let him do more 1 nap days I think - this is the source of our problems!

Still no better Clairey? What about going to a gp for a strong painkiller or antibiotic? I guess he would just send you right to the dentist...
O has learned a new trick, turning sideways in his cot at night & having a fit when he can't roll over an hour later because he either bangs his head or his feet get stick. As soon as I think we're in some sort of even kilter he finds another way to torture himself. :)
