1-2oz expressed while bf is really good Hun, I exclusivly express and sometimes I only get 2oz out!!!
I don't like the choking bit either, it's scary, the best thing to do is try to keep beau upright I think, otherwise speak to gp, mine told me if it carries on same then they will give him something for reflux, but it's not quite as bad now!!!

Jasmine brings up her milk after every feed - midwife said its just get getting used to my proper milk And my fast flow. I expressed a bottle for her yesterday for the first time and got 3oz quite quickly!

Do you think that the milk she is bringing up is just milk she didnt need?? It's odd cos sometimes she'll want to feed again straight after! X

Happy Birthday Nicky, mine was the 10th! First of all I forgot it was even my birthday and then I told everyone I was 33 when i'm 32!! lol x

Added bee and maddie .. Facebook and this site have become my saviour since Alex arrived and i am awake during all hours of the night think i would go crazy bored otherwise.

Also night sweats ..... OMFG is anyone else waking up dripping init its horrible. Read that its all the excess fluid leaving the body hope it stops soon!!

Vicky, I had terrible night sweats at about 2 weeks after giving birth, was awful!

Little man has just demanded another feed and is now fast asleep on my chest!!!

Ohhh i just got my very first sick up

CJ has just been sick all over me and my bedding, that's 2nd time this morning and it even came out of his nose poor lamb, he got upset just before hand too x

I had those too Vicky. I also had the biggest toilet trip ever 2 weeks after!! That accompanied with breast feeding made me lose 2 stones! So I guess that's the silver lining!

My sicky baby is now fast asleep! Gonna monitor the sickness today and if it keeps on like this take him to the drs in morning before I go back to my mum and dads! (Yaaaay more pamper time!!!!) I don't think having this snuffly nose is helping, he has had it for about 4 weeks now, that can't be right surely!!!

I'm shattered but bet I can't sleep now, it's typical!!! X

Nicky i just read something that i think to might find useful:

Possetting - most babies will bring up milk when they burp (its sometimes called possetting). This is perfectly normal, even though some 'sicky` babies may do this at at every feed. Its most common in the first three months, but settles down later on. Check with your gp if you have any concerns about how much your baby is being sick though.
