~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Both my boys are asleep.. Just laid here thinking about my dream pushchair and just thought I hadn't shared it with you ladies! I came across it a few weeks ago and I feel like we need it haha! Ours is a 2nd hand travel system from my sister and is now five years old! It's lovely and wasn't cheap new but bits so bloody heavy. I struggle to carry Alfie in the car seat! And the pushchair takes up the whole of my boot and doesn't fit in some people's cars! I'm pretty sure the wheels are on their way off too lol.

Not that it's overly expensive compared to others but this is my dream pushchair for Alfie, and I'd get the matching car seat you can clip on too :-)

I am just so in love with it!!!! Oh and I've found it for 400 with the car seat included :-)

Paul's not so convinced the price tag is a hard thing for him to love haha!

Hello ladies and babies! I'm in an excellent mood today, my little girl seems happy today touch wood. Just been smiling at me so I hope she's gonna have a good day!

Babybee I had the nappy explosions too last night! Hope things get better, how long is she on the iron for? Sending loves xxx

Good luck with scan sassy! Let us know how it goes x

Maddiie that's a gorgeous pram! And not bad for 400 x

Anybody know anything about spots? Sky has got red spots on her face for about 3 days now. She doesn't have them anywhere else but I dunno what they are? They look like teenage spots! Should I be concerned? X

Lol Maddie, that explains the nappies being so messy!

That travel system looks lovely and for £400 really isn't that bad! Tell Paul it's his belated bday present! I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Claire, she had a few complications at birth and needed a blood transfusion. Now she's on iron until the doctors are happy with her hemoglobin levels. So I don't know how long more she'll be on it the poor little love.

She was also really sick this morning and now she's struggling with all her might to get something out! And now she's got the hiccups to top it all off. I'm going to take her to the doctors just to be on the safe side. We were given one if those yellow cards when we were discharged but it expired last week - Sod's law!

Oh and Diane my lo has those spots too. The HV said its just her skin getting used to things like clothes etc. my mum said we had them when we were younger too and it's nothing.

Xxx

Alfie had little spots too :-) hehe I will tell Paul you all agree in it being a reasonable price ;-) just starting to tackle thank you card again as the boys are still asleep. Need to get more supplies of card and bows etc and print some more pics off. Little man is due a feed soon, hopefully he won't be a rascal and will let me watch the rest of twilight, yes ladies I'm a twilight lover. :o

Hi ladies. Lots of positive vibes on here this morning.

Good luck with the scan :)

BB I hope she can come off the iron soon. I should think the poo will go from green to yellow!

I have had a cry this morning as oh gone back to work. Feeling a little scared today. Stupid I know but doubting myself! Xx

Not stupid at all. We have all been there and you will be absoloutely fine - I promise! :-) xx

You will be fine, rachel. I know it is daunting but just take it an hour at a time.

I am waiting for my husband to come home from the airport with my parents. So excited!

I took Eli to baby clinic this morning, he has gained another 300grams, they are pleased with his progress. There are lots of other expats at the clinic, I am hoping it will be a good way to make friends. No one else here that I know has a baby.

Oooh they do all different ones and they are just so amazingly beautifully gorgeous!!!! Ooooh I feel like I need it to make it through the day Hahahahahaha x

Morning ladies,

Thanx for all the good luck messages, and of course I'll let you know Claire!!!

Dad won't let me drive back home cos of the snow, so yet more time minus my wheels, so fed up of not driving and been stuck relying on people!!!

Little man puked his morning feed all over me, but has been so much better since changing to dentinox and gripe water!!!

My little munchkin has spots too, apparently it is perfectly normal at this age!!

Maddie - I love twilight, numnuts bought me breaking dawn part 2 on Thursday but haven't had chance to watch it yet, wanna do a twilight session and watch em all!!!

Hope little miss is off the iron soon babybee, ive just been put on iron tablet but only have to take every other day as they upset my tummy otherwise!!!

Yaaaay for Eli, that's great news Talulah, and enjoy your visit from your parents!!!!

Rachel, it's normal to cry when oh went back to work, I cried with dread and then relief..... 4 weeks of him at home was far too much..... He went straight on to nights though which was awful!!!!

Suppose I best drag my ass outta bed and go see what mischief my son is causing!!!!

Have a good day ladies!!!

I took her to the docs and she is fine just trapped wind and a paranoid mother!! She's done a yellow poo, farted, burped, eaten and had her gripe water, folic acid and iron and now she's snoozing on my chest not letting me do anything I need to do!

It was the first time I've been to that docs since we registered and he was lovely!

Rachel, I cried and cried when my husband went back to work and its fine in the end I promise!

Sassy let us know how the scan goes!

Xx

Glad the Doc's was a positive experience hun, ours is lovely too.

Thats Harry registered and his bank account open, my boys are richer than me! lol

I've decided to try Harry with some chamomile tea! I've been researching it for a couple of days and I really think it'll help him with his wind. He doesn't really struggle to get his wind up but he does the most loudest and longest burps i've ever heard!! They actually make him jump sometimes bless him. He also gets bad hiccups at least every other feed that really upset him and he's a stressy baby in general unless he's up on my chest. Chamomile tea is supposed to help with all of those issues and because it's all natural it's meant to be better than other remedies.

I'm just about to order some tea for babies/children, Jack can have some before bed too to aid a restful night and if it works everyone's a winner! lol x

Aww hun, it's fab that you're seeking help rather than dwelling on it! Hope you get to see your Doc very soon x

Claire, they give chamomile tea to babies over here a lot. My midwife in hospital said it was,a,sanity saver fir her when her son was a baby.

Claireypants, be kind to yourself, it is positive that you are asking for help, hope the doctors are good to you.

Ugh, I want to write more but my phone is awful on here. Hope everyone is ok though. X

talulagosh - Thants good to know, thanks! i'm mainly hoping it'll chill him out! I can't work out if he's just a little stress head who hates laying by himself longer than 2 mins or if his belly is giving him troubles even though he burps quite easily. It's so difficult not being able to put him down to tend to my toddler without him yelling his head off! I hate seeing him so upset :( x
