~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I wanna hug you all!!! I really think we have such a lovely close group here thank you all!

Vicky I feel what you're feeling, it's bloody horrible isn't it? So conflicting and not how I imagined things tbh. It's such a big life changing thing (which obviously I knew it would be, but not as much as this!)

Babybee I can't believe your hubby said that lol!!! What is wrong with these men! Mine has said similar haha!

Hi guys... What a day!

Glad it int just me that is pissed with all the conflicting info we get told. Flask idea great. Just been and brought one. Will give it ago. So tempted to make night feeds in advance though and store in fridge. Several websites say it is fine to do so and it was done for years. I swear manufactures want to make more money by saying to chuck things after so long etc!!!

Babybee you made me laugh... Bless your lo snoring! Not something I have experienced yet but you never know! She growls if anything!

DC I thought breast milk had 24hours in fridge but again prob hv trying to give me a break down!

Xx

One more day before OH is back at work and i'm home alone with my boys! Eeek! Tou'd think i'd be excited to tackle them both on my own but i'm actually worried! I'm praying my wrap arrives monday morning so I can wear Harry for the forseeable because he's rubbish at laying by himself! x

Chris goes back on Wednesday And I'm dreading it too! Don't think I'm gonna cope without him at all! X

Babybee I swear your oh and mine are friends cos he said same!!!!

Oh and CJ snores too, it's uber cute!!!!

I have a video monitor from babies r us and it's fantastic!!!

Rachel it's defo 5 days in fridge for breast milk!!!

CJ just had a bath and I've covered him in snufflebabe, feet and chest, hope it helps!!! Also bought a few more dummies today as they help on a night!!!

I feel crap tonight got a banging headache!!! Gonna get him down then get in bed and watch something on tv as my parents are going to the pub!!!

claire what wrap are you getting? can you breast feed while wearing them? I am thinking of getting one for alex as when he cluster feeds I cant put him down.

I dread the day Nik goes back to work luckily I have him for at least a week possibly even 2 so am hoping to have found my feet a bit more before he leaves.

Diane yes it is a horrible feeling, I got so worked up earlier I physically gave myself a panic attack!!

Aww she is the cutest thing ever!!! Totally gorgeous I love her! Xxx

She is beautiful bb! I thought Lilly had lots of hair but I think you win! :)

My oh goes back Monday and I too am pooing my pants! Don't think I will have time to do anything but hold and feed lo. The days just fly  xx

PC - CJ is really noisy too, I'm surprised he has lasted this long in with us, he is constantly making noise!!!

He is asleep on my chest, but I bet when I try to put him down he will go mad!!!! Xx

Diane, don't feel guilty about putting Sky down for the night early- you're doing her good in the long run. We've put Blake upstairs on his own for the first time this evening, we have a Motorola video monitor from Kiddicare. Only problem is I'm now spending my evening watching the monitor!

Rachel I make all mine up just don't keep them for more than 24 hours. My sister did it with her eldest and alot of my friends do the same. The population is still here as that's how most people used to do it! We are all still alive and not ******ed. I'm sure it's a load of rubbish. Alfies been fine with me doing it if i had any concerns whatsoever I wouldn't endanger him.

Babybee she is just so so cute!

Nicky don't worry, you will be fine the day will fly we were all just as nervous but you will be fine, i promise! X

Ladies, can I give infacol and gripe water to CJ???? He is really struggling with wind!!! I've give him extra infacol tonight, and he is now laid on my chest just hope I can get him settled!!! Xx

Aww thanks ladies! i really do love this group!

Lol PC, sounds like my one, she's forever grunting! Sometimes I think I have birth to a piglet!!

Sassy, I gave my lo both one day as she was struggling so much. It did the trick and I haven't had to do both again. I don't know if its advisable but it was ok for mine.

Rachel, I've never seen a photo of your little one but just saw your pic and Lily is so gorgeous!!

Xxx

Oh and DC that's what happened to us. I was just watching her on video!

I've just put CJ in his big boy cot (at mums) and given him a dummy, I've got my video monitor on too right at the side of my head lol, I'll spend half the night watching him, even though I've put him down alone in there before, video monitors are lethal lol!!! He isn't quite asleep but is quite happy and grunting away to himself looking at the red bus cushion thing mum has in there for him to look at!!! Hopefully he will drop off soon!!!! I need to express but wanna wait til he is asleep as don't wanna leave it midflow!!!

I'll try with the infacol and gripe water, see if that helps, thanx babybee!!!

Daddy just told us he is working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, and 7am-2pm Saturday and Sunday, magic, more nights and days alone! Xx

Skyler has been in bed since 6.30ish, she was grunting etc but settled. I've just given her what I guess is a dream feed so hope she still sleeps tonight as usual. Was nice to have an evening to ourselves, but my hubby is passed out on sofa now after 2 beers haha!

Hope we all have good nights xxx

We have the Sunmer Infant camera monitor. It cost a fortune but is a necessity for us because Jack doesn't cry/shout for us when he wakes and never has done. Normal monitors don't pick up him rustling but this has great sound plus we can see him. Even now he's nearly 21 months old I still wake up 3-4 times a night to look at him lol. Harry yells when he wakes but we have a 2nd camera for when he moved to his own room x

I have the same monitor Claire, it's fantastic but I can't stop looking at it!!!

Little man didnt stay in bed long, he projectile vomitted and then got unsettled! He is now asleep on my chest, I need to finish expressing but oh well!!! Xx
