~February & March Mummies and Babies~

Msclaireypants, I had my baby just over 3 weeks ago and have almost stopped crying. I think it's normal. Once you're used to bubs and you start going out and about and your hormones settle, you'll be fine! :) if you feel really down though, def discuss it with your midwife, doc etc. xxx

Also to add, I found crying quite a nice release from all the stress of birth and becoming a new mum. I told my oh that there was nothing particularly wrong just I felt like a good cry nearly all the time. I also missed (and miss) being pregnant!

Very normal! I thought I was going mad!! I cried when we first eent home and didnt know why xx

tapatalking x

Totally normal!!! I think its a lot to do with birth experience as my baby is very relaxed and contented. I cried for about 10 days over every little thing! I cried over my vacuum cleaner lol! 4 weeks later it's totally gone x

Oh, and totally agree with babybee about missing being pregnant. That caused most of the sadness for me (and my hubby!).

Msclareypants it's completely normal I was the same and even now get upset over daft things, just not so often. And i gave birth nearly 5 weeks ago. Everyone gets some baby blues :-) if it persists talk to your Dr or hv they are really good. But it does get better - I promise :-)

I find it mad reading what everyone's lo's weigh now. Alfie was weighed on Wednesday and was 6lb6oz. Alot of your lo's were born heavier than him now haha! Check out this outfit I pit on him today that is 'first size ' bless him :-) x

I used to cry just looking at Blake! OH would come in the room and wonder what was up and I would just say "I just love him *sniff*"

Maddiie- Alfie is so tiny! I can't believe he is 5 weeks already. Blake is a really awkward size at the moment. Newborn stuff is starting to be too short as he is so long, but 0-3 months swamps him. He was 9lbs on Saturday.

Maddie, Alfie is so gorgeous it's ridiculous!

E came for her first shopping trip today. We were there 3 hours and she slept the whole time! I woke her for a feed during lunch. Lots of people kept trying to touch her which I wasn't letting happen! Not until she has all her jabs!
I did buy her one of those seahorses! Im going to try it out after.

Awww Sassy and Maddie, thats so cute! My lo is growing out of her newborn and her 0 months clothes. She's fitting snugly into her 0-3month clothes now. Brings a little year to my eye she's grown so much already!

Im just looking at her red book and her head is 38cm! Big ole nugget head!

Awww DW, he's gorgeous!!!

Don't worry, mine went from 8lbs2 to 7lbs4 in the space of 2 days!! It was a vvvv emotional time. We got her to her birth weight in 1.5 weeks. Once they have got over the initial adjustment period of life outside the womb they eat normally. Plus breast fed babies tend to lose a bit of weight.

Good luck my love! He will have gained it I'm sure :)

Thanx hun xx
He was weighed day 5 and tomorrow is day 10 so fx he going up x cant face being in hospital again :(

DW my little man lost over 13% of his body weight and is back up to past his birth weight now! It's surprising how much they put on without you realising!
Hope it all goes well tomorrow!!!! X

Oh and by the way, Quinn is just bloody gorgeous! Here is my little munchkin the other day!

Msclaireypants, it definitely will come. All the hormones that are racing round you at the moment are clouding feelings if bonding to the baby etc. it's still so early but it will feel better. We're here to chat too if you ever need anything!

Little Miss is sooooooo gorgeous!

I've got a sicky boy tonight, he has a bad chest bless him!!! He just puked all over my dad!

And Claire, it definatly does come love, you have been through alot! Xx
