Unfortunaly sassy I don't think there is any method, she just seems to love her sleep just like her dad lol.
She does take a lot of food during the day then a big feed right before bed, in the dark, with no talking ... But I honestly just think she's a sleepy baby... Pretty much explains why I was at hospital so much with no movements when I was pregnant I guess! How is cj today? Is he any better? Hope Nicky is ok too I've been thinking of her all night! I almost feel jealous too, it's such a massive event to go through, I loved it! Really hope I get to experience it all again x

Yay yay yay he's put on 2oz!!! He's now 5lbs 3.5oz!!!

All ok with our other checks too except they had to repeat his heel prick
last sample was rejected as insufficient blood but this time he bled much better mw said "they sent me as I'm tougher than the others at getting difficult blood" lol xx ive only met this 1 once in clinic but very efficient xx
She trimmed my stitches too as they were pulling at ends too much left outside too dissolve! !
So all in all very good visit - will see next on Monday to hopefully be discharged

DW yay for Quinn!!!
I have a very unhappy little fella, this cold really isn't going away, and I think he may have alittle bit of tummy ache!
Also he is now fully draining his bottle so gonna up him to 4oz, and possibly top him up with one formula feed..... You ladies that do combi feed how do you find it??? I feel abit guilty cos I'm not giving him solely ebm, but I wanna do best for him, had quite a few tears over this!

HL28, I'm so glad you mentioned feeling shit because I do too! I feel like some mammal who's given birth and all the affection is on the baby (which it should be) but I feel like I also need a bit of the same TLC I got when pregnant. My husband and my mum seem to just think I'm fine. Don't get me wrong I love my daughter to pieces but it would also be nice to be a bit more spoilt!
Sassy, as for combi feeding. At first it was fine but now she seems to get really constipated when I give her formula and also she does yellowy green poos when she's been given it. I found if you do give formula top ups, try and make that milk the same temp as your breast milk. I'm not a huge fan of it but sometimes it just can't be helped.
Last night we had a bad night with her constipation. The poor little thing woke herself up by squeezing too hard. So now I'm breast feeding her more than usual to flush out the formula and it seems to be helping her.
Diane, it sounds like you have a perfect little angel for a baby!

Yeah I found formula on its own is fine but mixed with breast milk causes a few uncomfortable niggles for the baby. I've been researching it and apparently their digestive systems are maturing and when they get to around 8 weeks the constipation and wind begins to go.

Argh, slept through my 3am express (volume on alarm was knocked off, and numnuts didn't think to get me up!) and then valve on pump stuck so just wasted milk by covering myself in it! Not impressed!
To top it all off I have to go to drs for blood tests this morning, and mw this afternoon, and T is on nights for next two so its just me and CJ!

Wow that's amazing Sassy. I wish I could produce that amount! Definitely skip waking at 3am!!
I think infacol is working on my lo, she only woke up for her feeds rather than struggling to release trapped wind. She's also burping much more easily.
Today is such miserable weather, I'm planning on just relaxing the whole day. What's everyone else upto?
