********February 2019 mummies*********

Hi just a quick update. Everything was fine! Baby was jumping about and waving at us. Total relief. They think my cervix was irritated by all the vomitting as nothing abnormal was found on the scan. Ah I can relax now!! Xx

Yes we are telling people now- I can’t hide it!

Lynsey that’s fantastic what a relief!!! Hope you feel better soon.

Greenflowers my symptoms vanished overnight at 8+4 or 5. And baby looked great at my ultrasound 10 days later. I was so scared! I’m sure your baby is fine.

Wow kholl I'm still waiting on my bump and still not felt any movement yet. Can't wait to feel baby move!
Congrats green flowers! Welcome!
Xx

Wow Kholl that's such a cute neat little bump - but definitely there. I'm actually a little jealous, although we have a few people we still need to tell before I start showing - some people I don't mind if I'm showing when I tell them but others I need to be more careful with.

Lynsey I'm so glad everything was okay :) Congratulations.

So glad everything was ok for you :)

Hi all, I'm back on this site after 5 years when my eldest was born. I've got two boys 3 and almost 6 and due with my 3rd at start of Feb. Scan on Friday (I'm 12 weeks) so may get pushed into Jan mums but wanted to say hi! This one was an accident (I was on the pill, and my marriage is going through a rocky patch, and DH doesn't want this baby) so I'm still getting used to the idea of another baby! Think I might need the support of this forum in the coming months...

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear that your marriage is going through a rough patch but we're all here for support. Can't wait to hear how your scan goes. You can always hang around in here even if you are moved over to Jan mums too, as baby might be a few days late making you a Feb mum :)

Welcome mumof3tobe - as I'm sure you'll remember everyone is super supportive here, so we're all here for you x

Lyndsey - such fantastic news, I've been thinking of you, really pleased to hear a positive update :)

Kholl, what a cute little bump! I'm feeling really self conscious in certain clothes now, as I can't do my trousers up properly, so I'm worried people will guess, although I'm sure mine is just bloating at the mo!

I've been for my second scan today ladies....I know I was told not to worry, but for the last two weeks I have been, and last night I barely slept. I was terrified going in today, but its all good news :) little bean has grown perfectly, has caught up those two days, and heart rate is now 165. So everything is where it should be :) I'm feeling so much happier now. There is a chance I may be shifted into March come my 12 week scan, but for now I am 28th Feb due date, so I'm going to stick around here for now :)

Fantastic news Gemsy, even if you are moved over to March you should hang around here as there's always the chance baby will arrive a little early, you can be part of two threads :)

Thanks everyone, I’m a little self-conscious to be showing so early, but it’s baby 4 so I guess inevitable (especially cause I have no sickness so I’m eating like crazy).

Gemsy HOORAY!!! What a wonderful relief!

Welcome mumof3, so sorry for the marriage stress, is it mostly due to the day-to-day challenges of young kids? We are all stretched so thin that often the tension gets transferred to our marriages I think... sending lots of good thoughts, I hope things improve. Is therapy an option?

Donna how are you feeling?

Who else has a scan coming up?

I have been told by consultant that due to my past history (pre eclampsia) I probably won't be allowed to carry to term, so very likely it will be February anyway!

Gemsy, hope the pre-e doesn’t happen again!

I’m even bigger today... this is crazy!

So looks like I have a blighted ovum, sack measures 7+5 but no baby at all, pretty gutted right now. I go back to go tomorrow for results of hcg test then getting a referral to an ob for a d&c to get rid of it.

Oh no Mystery :( I gasped when I read this, I am SO so sorry, that is just hideously awful. Sending you so much love; loss is just too devastating for words. I hope the process is as smooth and painless as possible. I'm so sorry.

Mystery I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of hugs xx

Kholl I'm actually at the point where I'm feeling fairly normal again, bloated and boobs are big (but not as big as they were) but no sickness and not as tired as I was. I really hope it's just my hormones settling down and not because there's something wrong.

Mystery - I am so sorry :( sending you loads of love, hugs and all my thoughts. I hope it's a quick process for you so you can grieve and move on at a pace that is good for you.

Donna, my symptoms vanished at 8+4 or 5 and all was well. They haven’t come back since (except constant peeing and insomnia). No nausea or constipation at all. Still having some intense moodiness though from time to time.
