CRL was 2mm, which I think dates the pregnancy at 5 weeks 3 days, as opposed to the 5 weeks 5 days by my dates. So it really is marginal. Its a private clinic, so I think they are quite thorough - she couldn't give me all the information they normally do, which I think is part of the reason they want us back. They're not charging for the second scan as they said they like to be able to give a lot more detail than they were able to today.

Just remembered, HB was also 110bpm, which I think is good, from what I have read (I'm trying to step away from google!)

Anyone got any feelings on gender?
I think I'm having a boy this time. I was much more sick and ill with my son's pregnancy 12 years ago. With my girls I was sick but not as Ill.
How is everyone feeling? I'm still sick and not going on my holiday we are just going to stay home. At least my husband is off for a few weeks and he can help me out xxx

Gemsy my private scan showed I was a few days earlier due to the measurements however she measured 3 times and got 3 different gestations and told me it can be out by up to a week and not to rely on it. Xx

Lynsey based on similar to what you've said my husband is thinking girl - as with my son I didn't feel constantly sick but when I did feel sick I was sick. Whereas this time around I'm feeling almost constant nausea.

I'm really not sure; I don't want to think about having either one as I'd gate to feel disappointed if I'm wrong (I don't think I would feel disappointed but you never know)

Are you all going to find out what you're having or wait until the big day? (I hate when people say keep it a surprise because I think it's a surprise whenever you find out haha)

Having felt fine.....the nausea has hit today....urgh! Feel pretty rank....I've been rushing around all morning so I'm sitting down with an ice lolly to see if it helps!!

I didn't find out with my son and it was lovely having my husband announce it was a boy. We did find out with my girls and I must admit it was soooo much easier to plan and buy all things gender specific.
I think I will find out this time aswell as with three kids already I feel I need as much prep as possible.
Gemsy ice lollies have been saving me lol xx

Afternoon ladies, hope we are all doing well

Anyone else feeling like they can't human at all due to sudden fatigue? It seems with me the last few days, that I get to the early afternoon and suddenly can't keep my eyes open and end up napping for 2 hours! Also got no real appetite at the moment apart from wanting sweet things, which I'm trying super hard to stay away from but I can't help it!

In other news, yesterday I passed my first milestone, in how far gone I was when I had my MC, so feeling a bit more relaxed about things now.
Got my first midwife appointment on Monday, nervous and excited and have started writing up a list of questions for her.
I can't wait to get our fire scan booked in, I'm nearly 9 weeks on Monday, so not long to go before we should have it in the calendar!

Glad everyone is doing well, though I’m sorry for the fatigue. My nausea has been totally gone for almost a week now, I’ve heard it can do that around week 9 as hormones level off so I assume it’s that. I so get tired but I’m also having awful insomnia so that’s a culprit too.

I didn’t find out the sex of any of my babies, waiting until birth is the best (gor me and my husband anyway). We won’t find out this time either. That said, I KNEW in my heart what each would be, and I was right every time so far... this time I’m having very strong girl feelings so we’ll just have to wait and see if my instinct is right again.

I'm with you ladies on not finding out. I loved that my now husband told me we had a girl once she was born and I want the same this time although he is a little tempted to find out!

Kholl how amazing your instinct was right every time!

Phillipa! I meant to say congratulations on passing that milestone! I know after I passed that same milestone of getting farther along than I had with my miscarriage, it really was a weight off my shoulders. Can’t wait to hear how the midwife appt goes!

My scan is in 5 days. I can’t believe it... I do feel hopeful but also I know on that day I will be terrified... Wednesday cannot come soon enough.

I’m still feeling fine lol just tired been having more pulling stretching pains so I’m hoping it’s growing in there and my dates were just way off lol guess I’ll find out in 2 weeks
