****February 2019 Mamas****

That sounds like aswollen milk duct- let us know what the doc says!

Thank you, I read that a hot shower or cloth can help with milk ducts, so hopefully it will sort out. It is quite sore, and right on the bra line.

Puglover, I have the same in my armpit, it's not painful or anything but you can see it's a bit swollen.

Kholl, how are you enjoying France? I'm so envious you're there, it sounds like heaven!

My tiny human is currently laying with his back to the world and is making me more uncomfortable than usual thanks to the extra weight on front.
Feeling bigger and bigger every day now, and I've had random people ask me when I'm due now!

Excuse the lack of clothes, was just about to jump in the shower.

I saw the GP today - have been referred to specialist as she wasn't sure what the lump is. I guess it needs an expert to be sure. I just want to get it sorted as I have a trip booked for a couple of weeks time, and hope i can enjoy it and enjoy baby!

Hope you get yourself an answer to the lump soon, let us know how you get on?

Where are you off to for your trip?

My husband and I were supposed to be doing a babymoon, but due to my SPD and lack of time etc, we've not been able to get anything booked.

A babymoon - I like the sound of that, I guess that's the name for what I am doing too then haha!

We are going to Wroclaw, Poland for the Christmas market. I went with my Polish freind to Krakow, and fell in love with the place, so m excited to take the boys now to experience it! Hopefully a nice way to start Christmas festivities.

Ahh that'll be amazing; we looked at doing a Christmas market in Germany or Poland but because of work we'd have to go a lot closer to Christmas as we were unsure on flights when I was that far along. So we're just doing the ones closer to home.

Have a fantastic time :)

Thanks Donna88. Yes I chose Wroclaw as the market begins in November. Flights can be tricky to coordinate!

Im feeling really fed up today. I didnt sleep hardly at all with worry about the breast lump. Ive just been given an appt for 2 weeks but its the day I fly to Poland for our Christmas trip. Not going to be much fun preparing for the trip. I need sleep.

Oh Puglover I’m so sorry for the worry, waiting for appointments is so frustrating. I hope all is well.

We are at the airport getting ready to go home. It’s been an incredible trip but I’m so ready to see the kids!

Sorry you have to wait so long for your appointment puglover, I know this is easier said than done but is there anything you could do to take your mind off of it and focus on other things. Just remember it's probably nothing so there's no point worrying unless they tell you otherwise

Kholl, glad you had a lovely holiday - it seems to have gone so quickly, this week has flown by.

I've been having problems with cramping in my legs again this morning - I knew it was coming as last night my legs were feeling really achy. I've started aching all at the top of my legs and groin area which is a massive pain. I think I need to make sure I'm taking things steady, but at the same time I want to make sure I'm still getting a bit of walking in otherwise I'll be getting no exercise at all which also can't be good for me for the next 10 plus weeks.

Thanks girls, I managed to get some sleep last night and feel much better. I've been knitting and planning for trip, and Christmas! Hubby has been lovely buying flowers etc, so that helps me feel good too.

Donna, I started pregnancy yoga, which exhausts me but at least I know I'm doing some exercise each weekend, and walking through the week. I used to suffer with restless leg syndrome, it's awful.

Ahh I really want to start knitting again but I don't know what to knit.

Ahh I really want to start knitting again but I don't know what to knit.

I've started a poncho for feeding and the cold weather. I had some lovely Alpaca Aran wool in green. Also making a warm headband for Winter.

Ugh Donna the cramps I'm getting are the worst this time! I get them in my feet especially and it's SO uncomfortable. I try to remember to take magnesium, I know that helps.

Puglover, I have been knitting a wool blanket for my mother-in-law... for two freaking years! I was going to give it to her for Christmas 2016 and now it's Christmas 2018 and I'm not even halfway done. My god it takes so long!!!

How's everyone feeling? I am 29 weeks on Tuesday and just cannot believe how fast this is going. When people ask when I'm due they often say "oh so you still have some time!" and I'm like, yeah, I guess? It sure doesn't feel like I have a lot of time! I know with Thanksgiving then Christmas the rest of 2018 will just disappear... then it's January then it's baby time. It makes my head spin! I have so much I want to do in the next 11/12 weeks!

Haha it's the time that gets me too; plus I have loads of odd balls of wool that I feel I should be using before I buy more for a specific project... so it's deciding what to make with what I already have.

I knitted a cardigan when I first found out but due to baby brain and over tiredness I made a mess of sewing it altogether and I haven't made anything since. I really should just bite the bullet and go for it.

I know - other people keep telling me it's not long and although I know Christmas will be here soon and then it's only a matter of weeks - I feel like after Christmas time is going to drag. But then in my head I also know that she'll be here in no time at all really

Hi girls, I've not been on for a while, so it's nice to catch up on everyone's news. I'm 26+1 now, and my ton of consultant appointments have just kicked off....I'm pretty much being seen every week now until I have the baby. I had pre eclampsia and quite a traumatic delivery with my son, and I have to say the care is absolutely amazing this time round.

I had a consultant appointment last week, they referred me for physio and also to an anaesthetist to discuss my disastrous epidural last time round (only worked on one side and gave me headaches and vision problems for months afterwards). I'm hoping to avoid one this time round, but as they said, it is better to be fully prepared and then I won't be worried about it.

Insomnia is torturing me at the mo :( last night I got 2 hours in total :(

Gemsy INSOMNIA IS THE WORST. I can so, so relate. Mine seems to have improved, but I also cannot sleep past 4:40am. 4:40! It seems to be the magic number. I'm glad you're getting great care this time around. For what it's worth, my second birth was a thousand times easier than the first. And he came so fast! It does seem to be a trend.

Donna I feel like January will likely go slowly, as it always does! Hopefully I can fill that time with the 9,000 things I want to get done before baby arrives.

How is everyone feeling? I'm 29 weeks today!

I'm not sure on Jan going slowly, it used to for me but we've got into the habit of just keeping busy. Obviously this year we'll be busy making sure stuffs sorted for little ones arrival so it could go either way. I'm working up until the end of Jan as well so again that could go either way; it'll either make time go quickly or it'll drag haha.

I'm at the midwives this morning and then have to go to the hospital for my anti-d, luckily I work next door to the hospital so I'll park up at work and then walk round. Busy afternoon at work once I'm back in. No rest for the wicked. I think the next few weeks possibly up until I go on maternity will be the same as it's that time of year where everyone is off ill.

I've had anti-d too Donna. Had routine one yesterday and another due tomorrow, as I had a little bleeding. It's not fun is it?!
