******* February 2015 Mummys to be ********

That's all I can think about too Helen! I'm so excited to get it done. Ordering furniture on Friday! Can't wait! Decoration being finished on sat!

Just worked out I only have 40 working days left, thanks to Xmas time off and a week off coming up

Hellooo ladies,

Not been on here for what feels like a lifetime – only been a few days!! Been really poorly with a terrible cold – never had one like this before :( Hope everyone is doing well, so exciting to think that we are quickly approaching our third trimester! The time is just going no where...!! Babies will soon be here.

I still have such a tiny bump! When I lie down and wait for Pip to move, he/she moves to one side so my tummy is sooo hard, it makes my tummy look very alienish! I do have a major wriggler though, I think i’m going to miss it when he/she is here!

Does anyone else feel themselves getting really full quicker than usual? I used to be able to eat A LOT in the first 20 weeks or so but lately, i’m getting super full... this can’t be happening, i’m loving food at the moment!

How exciting about the maternity leave bricey, I have 44 days left!!

xx

Hi girls
Random question

Would anyone go to at concert at an arena at 27 weeks??

I'm unsure what to do!?!?

Are you seating or standing?

If your seating then that's no problem just might be a bit uncomfortable.

But standing might mean you get poked and prodded x

What kinda gig is it? If it's a black metal one I'd say probably not ;) But if you're sat and can protect yourself then there's no harm. Just be prepared to get those elbows out and don't be afraid to use them!

I went to an example gig on Saturday, just made sure I booked seated tickets so got some space. So yes go for it if it's seated? I wouldn't risk standing though in case people squash you. Oh and the loud music made baby go nuts! Amazing!
I think I need to work out how many days I have left at work...I am losing interest big time now I know I'm finishing so soon.
Pip I wish I was full sooner, might stop me pigging out so much!
Ooh in other news one of my close friends is in Labour, eek so exciting and makes me even more impatient for little miss to be here

Rachel I went to a concert last week and was standing. Just picked a spot nearer the back that wasn't too crowded and I was absolutely fine. Must admit though I was absolutely knackered after it and the next day. My whole body was sore like I'd done an all action workout but baby loved it I could feel him or her totally moving about during it :)

Wide Awake at 5am.... Nooooooooooo!!!! Only bonus is extra time feeling my little man wiggle about lol but I don't need to be up for another 2 hours!!

I too was in the 5am wide awake club... Courtesy of my LO.

I need my sleep!! But like you pip has a good wriggle first thing so it's always nice to feel baby.

I don't even have a LO to blame yet lol! Goodness knows what I'll be like when he come along as my eyes are now stinging like mad
X

Bless ya well I'm just up coz I'm off to work and baby is making Helen really jump kicks very strong already xc

Awww you poor lot waking up early, better get used to it anyway ha ha!

Does anyone else struggle to breathe sometimes? My goodness, baby must of been sat in such a awkward position last night :(

x

When I walk up a set of stairs or anything slightly more than walking I'm sooooo out of breath it's ridiculous.

Struggling to carry my 18 month old for more than a couple of steps now!

I can understand it a little more being active etc because of the extra weight but it's after i've just eaten!!

:wall2:

I just did a sains shop and whilst there picked up baby bath, baby shampoo and baby lotion, sponges and some erm maternity pads. It's all very well getting the big things but it's these little essentials that make it feel real for me!

Decided to start off with sains own baby products and hope bubs takes to then ok rather than dive straight into expensive products. I've just got bottle of each to start with - see how it goes.

Then also today I've ordered:

4x Moses basket fitted sheets
4x crib fitted sheets
4x cot fitted sheet
Glo light thing for main nursery light
Cot bumper - decoration only will remove when he is in his cot!
Changing mat
Decal for feature wall

Got to breathe deep and hit "check out" on my £200 etsy order too! Then tomorrow is furniture time and Saturday nursery decorating is being finished

Exciting, getting there!

Ahh Bricey how exciting! Glad you are gradually getting more and more stuff..!!

Making me slightly panicy now thinking me and OH need to get ourselves into gear!

xx

Me too! i have hardly bought anything yet, pay day tomorrow so need to get cracking!

I'm getting so sick of people telling me how big my bump is! A woman at work today said "Oooh i was never that big with all 3 of mine at such an early stage". What the hell am i supposed to do about it, starve myself?! Grrr!!!

Well we are hardly "early stages" now, I'm 6 months in a week so we are all getting to 2/3 of way through!

Oh brumgirl what a cheeky bitch!!! I'm also sick of people at work commenting on me wearing heels!!! I'm seriously going to lose the plot with the next person who mentions it xxx

I know it amazes me how people think they can offend u just cos u are pregnant and it should be ok! I wouldn't mind but the silly cows belly is almost as big as mine, at least mine is all baby!
