******* February 2015 Mummys to be ********

Hope u feel better soon beckyboo god this is dragging and it's just Monday lol x ::wishful thinking:: hurry up weekend

Bricey maybe your in laws don't want to step on your m&ds toes. I know mine have been quite like that, like my m&ds bought us our pram and in laws said they'll buy whatever's left on the list. They maybe feel a bit more comfortable getting carried away buying stuff because it's their daughter that's pregnant. I'm sure they're not trying to upset you and maybe just don't know their place.

Really trying to be good with my eating this week. Made a big pot of homemade soup for my lunches which is yummy and filling me up. However last night after dins I was still hankering after something and ate half a tub of salt and vinegar Pringles!! Feel so guilty for it today xxx

oh god they don't care about stepping on my mum and dad's toes, they are so not like that, they push in in front of them and even said to me she will be best palce to help out as my mum has never had a baby (im adopted)

ive hardly had movement yet today, had some last night and a few in the night. nothing this morning. stressing me out something major

Have you lay down and had a cold drink of juice....or some chocolate? I know it's basic advice but sometimes just laying down and concentrating makes all the difference?? x

im at work so cant, but had a cold drink, think there is a few light kicks now - I have a high anterior placenta so might be cushioning kicks depending on where he is sat. will keep an eye out and call later. I assume the strength of the kick is irrelevant, a kick is a kick?

Hey girls what day do you want me to put the thread for tri 3 up Wednesday next week then some people are almost at 26 weeks xx coz its 26+3 when u go to tri 3 isn't it xx

I think he might be kicking backwards, feel little "ticks" every now and then, which is enough to keep me sane and not go home.

I plan on heading to tri 3 on 26+6 and that's 7th nov - im due 7th feb, so 1st feb tri 3 would be 31st Oct?

Bricey, run to the loo and do some star jumps. That'll get babes moving ;)
I know the anxious feelings if you don't feel movement are horrible. This lil thing gives me some almighty boots and wriggles but quiet times are scary.

Zoe, I plan on moving over when im 27weeks. 25 today so only 2 weeks. Where has that time gone?????

Just had a little giggle to myself (makes the day go faster!). Had to move to let someone out of the lift and tried to breathe in to let her past then realised the belly doesnt move anymore! hehe silly sod!

Ok well I will put thread on the 2nd November ready for everyone xx

Haha Brumgirl I keep doing the same!! I tried to squeeze behind a chair at dinner the other night and just doesn't work then got myself stuck half in and half out the car thinking I could breath in and get out lol!!

Makes you laugh abit!

I was woke up by my little wriggler for the first time ever this morning! Was the loveliest feeling ever!!

X

I love feeling baby move its the best thing ever but I also have a high anterior placenta so have alot of quiet days.

Not sure if anyone else has done this but I joined the boots parenting club a couple of weeks ago and they sent me a load of vouchers to use. Just done a bit of online shopping and managed to get £100 worth of stuff for £35! That included a free changing bag, not sure what the quality will be like but can't complain too much when its free!! X

Back from antenatal day unit as midwife suggested I went, all ok and they were lovely - if anyone has any worries or movement doubts then really do go

Glad all is okay bricey, you deffo did the right thing getting checked out. It's horrible when they're quiet in there!
MrsJohnson good work on the boots club, the changing bag you get isn't huge but we found it useful for when hubby takes baby out as it's black haha x

Boots parenting club sounds good!! Might have to have a look :)

I have a high anterior placenta too.... I Don't panic when I can't feel him because it's common isn't it but mainly when I'm just sat down I do feel him slightly. Just seen he's the size of a ruler .. 30cm... I was shocked lol

Xx

MrsT, and that's just crown to rump length! :D

The boots changing bag is good as a 'spares' to fill and leave in the car. If you *forget* the main changing bag (as my husband did a couple of times) its a life saver. Unless you're prepared to refill daily, its not too great for full time use but cant complain as its a freebie :)

Hmm Im not sure I believe this high anterior placenta stuff. I have that too and I can feel baby so much. Have never had a problem??

The midwife said today about high anterior that it doesn't make difference now as baby is low but might when it moves up. But given it's stronger then too it might make no difference at all
