Hey girls

Sorry I have been so quiet I've been busy with work!!

Zoe I'm due the 14th and our gender guess was blue but we found out we are having a baby girl!!!

I'm glad Helen is feeling better now xxx

I've been looking for a crib but can't seem to make my mind up which one - any suggestions x

Zoe we're team pink! Thanks for updating it and doing tri3 thread in a couple of weeks, you're a star!
We will deffo have to get a thread going after babies are here, its a must for night feeds!
Flick congrats on V day! I bet it's lovely to get there!
My bump has suddenly grown the past couple of days, I'm carrying around a little football all of a sudden! And little miss has been a right wriggle bum today, I love it!

Got a few more pinks and yellows Savin it to my notes on iPad then it's ready for tri 3 in couple off weeks xx

Hiya ladies, long time no speak! How is everyone? I notice a few if you now know genders! I caved at the scan and asked to find out but babies legs were closed together so couldn't tell! Fate I guess.
I think I can feel baby kicking loads but I'm still not quite sure that it's not just wind or something!

20 week scan & current bump :) I'm now wearing nighties as PJ tops because my actual PJ tops are now too short!

Oooo baby c ur got a nice bump Helen belly button is sticking out I think it's dead cute but she thinks I'm weird xxx

Thank you! My button hasn't popped yet and I'm hoping it won't, it freaks me out!
How is Helen?

Yeah she's good Hun still a bit chesty and a lot back pain now I'm guessin baby getting bigger coz it kicked me head the other day lol hope ur ok too Hun xx

Its a fantastic feeling. Just to know someone will help baby if something happens; it is enough to stop so much worrying.

My friend's friend went into natural labour at 23 weeks with triplet boys. Medics didn't stop labour expecting them to not survive but miraculously all 3 of them are alive and well! (As well as very very premature babies can be) It's incredible. They were born 31/08 & 01/09.

Ooph! - The kicks are so strong now! Baby kicked the doppler off my tummy at midwife appointment earlier lol And they're all over the place!

Hi girlies,

Just catching up with all the goings on, exciting that we're speaking about Tri 3 although still a while away for me yet as not due till end of Feb.

Had a rubbish doctors appointment yesterday, she gave me into trouble about my weight. I know I've put on loads, 2 stone already but I've really been struggling. I was sick most days last week, I usually feel like I've got a hangover most days which makes it difficult to be good. I've been eating too many carbs. Anyway she said if I don't calm down I'm going to end up with diabetes and have to get a section cos baby is too big. Was crying after I left appointment and so down last night so need to get on the health kick today.

Xxx

Cosmo that's an awful thing to say... And having a big baby doesn't mean you'd need a section anyway!!
Surely if she has concerns about your weight, there's a way of going about it without being so bloody rude!!

As long as you're aware of what you're eating, sod her!! And eating carbs won't make you get gestational diabetes. I was lucky and my sickness ended around 12-13 weeks, but all I did in the early days was eat carbs.

Do what you feel is best... And ignore the doctor (presume it was the doc and not midwife?).

Hope you feel better today about it all

I'm so tired... Harry woke me up at 4.30 this morning... He came in with me (hubby went into spare room!). Harry fell straight back to sleep, but I couldn't. Now been wide awake for nearly 2 hours and my eyes are stinging.
We have a funeral to go to today which I'm dreading... It's a very good friends dad's funeral. His mum only died in June 2013, and now his dad has passed away. Feel so sad about it all. My friend is one of 6 children so they all have lots of support around them, but I don't think any of them expected this.

I have a feeling I'll be more emotional than usual today with being tired and pregnant! Xx

Zoe we are team yellow. Thanks for updating the list. Its all getting very exciting now, my brother and his gf have just announced they are pregnant so baby j will have a little cousin of a similar age to play with!
X

Oooo exciting mrsjohnson our child will have a second cousin to hang out with Helen real close to her cousin just so u all know her cousin was due on sat so she is late can not belive both our children be in same year and we feel miles apart from pregnanncy x

Aww Zoe that's a lovely start to the thread! Please could you change me to team yellow!? We didn't find out what we were having, I'm just guessing it's a boy! :) Can't wait to move over, it'll be so exciting - the last chapter of our growing bumps until our NEW BOOK of PF babies :)

I love seeing how everyone has these cute little bumps going, mine is really lacking - I didn't even have a big belly start with so I would expect to show really early!! :( I'm measured fine at my last midwife appointment and I see and feel baby all the time so i'm not going to worry! I have no outie belly button either, my belly bar is still in!!!!!!!!!

Cosmo girl, so sorry to hear about your awful doctors appointment. Don't worry about the weight you have put on, don't feel like you should justify yourself. If you wana eat, bloody well eat girl - baby must need it and so must you for that matter. Try eating little and often, I had been worrying about my weight gain, but if you eat starchy foods it'll will fill you for longer. Wholemeal bread and not white and try eating fruit and veg when you can - atleast you are getting some goodness then. Speak to you midwife and see what she recommends - chin up :)

xx

Is anyone measuring ahead?? I'm only measuring one week ahead but wonder if that will increase the further along I get x
