Aw lovely pic MrsT glad all went well! We are having a lazy morning here, I'm still in my pjs and dressing gown, love it!

Another weekend going too quick but in a good way I think our next aim is that v day not far now for most of us x

:( on baby centre feb birth club today someone lost baby 22weeks and someone's sister at 34. There is never a time to stop worrying :(

I agree, not safe until they are in our arms then a whole new world of worries will start! x

So yesterday I went to kiddicare and spent two hours in there, it's a dream!

Test drove several pushchairs but now have my heart set on an icandy!

I also brought this for baby's cot, his daddy is a farmer so he's very pleased with my choice!

Feels all a bit real now we can start buying stuff. Today we are off to look at bedroom furniture and cots.

Hope you are all keeping well x

ICandy is lovely isn't it, I ordered mine yesterday :)

That bedding is so cute! I've just googled kiddicare and it's 2 hours from me. I drove past a place called baby superstore yesterday, wish I'd of gone in now :(

Xx

Kiddicare that's in peterbourgh about 4 hours away for us, we have a massive mother care up here we are getting all our furniture delivered on 28th October sooo excited my dad and I are building it xxx

I'm so glad to hear everyone is keeping well and babies are all ok.

I have bought a bedroom set for my little boy and was wondering what your all doing about cot bumpers, I know they are supposed to be dangerous but I feel the advice is very conflicting. The issue regarding air circulation confuses me because in a Moses basket there is like 0 air circulation because of the sides!
I know about older babies using them to climb and wiggling under but for under 1 year I was thinking it should be fine?
What do you all think?

Women wouldn't be allowed to have children if we all had to follow health and safety rules. Some things are so silly!

That nursery set is very cute Selina :) x

Hey girlies,

Productive weekend for me, had my 20 week scan which was amazing!!! Everything perfect with the baby, it was 3D so got a wee glimpse at his or her face. So in love and can't wait for Feb. Also got a crib, a cot and drawers with changing table. It's all white and gorgeous. We got our pram a few weeks ago, Silvercross Elegance which I love too.

So I feel like all the big stuff is done now, just need this wee baby to make an appearance....in 4 months time mind you not now!!! Xxx

Oh I'm soooo jealous! I can't decided whether it's too much compared to the oyster which is quite similar. More test driving next weekend!

We are very lucky it's just under an hours drive for us, otherwise I'd be ordering online as I've found mothercare to be a bit naff and I can't find anymore baby stores.

I'm stuck for what to order in the way of nursery furniture too. We went out shopping again today and I couldn't find any furniture that looked sturdy. Mothercare only had one set on display which I didn't like the look of.

I brought a groegg thermometer today to keep in the nursery as our house gets very very cold and I'm a bit paranoid baby will get cold. So I'm gonna test that out now. We brought lots of lovely clothes and a few other bits so we are gradually building up the collection. :)

Xx

Congrats on the scan Cosmo glad it all went good for you :)

We have a groegg thermometer.... I think you'll be shocked, we've had it in for a couple of months just keeping an eye on the temperature. I remember turning it on and we made a guess at the temperature and both said too cold and it was too warm by about 2 degrees lol!! They are really handy!

Xxx

Congrats cos on the scan hun so happy it went well xx

SelinA ur nursery set looks amazing I like the cars on the wall extra cute

Baby really kicked me in head tonight was amazing and totally worth it xxx

Selina love the nursery. Really cute. We didn't use cot bumpers when dd was little but when she got to 9/10 months became a little head banger so use one on each end of the cot to stop her sore head haha and had no problems. I think each to their own and all that!
Cosmo yay so pleased the scan went well!
We have the groegg thermometer and same as you guys it always feels colder than it is. Without the heating on its been 18 recently but I find that too cold so aim for 20 degrees and take a layer off dd.
Ugh I feel rough this evening, horrid headache again
