Hi, I'm brand new to this forum, with my first pregnancy

I'm 8-9 weeks, not really sure as it was the only time I didn't write the date of my LMP in my diary!!!! Typical.

Feeling rough a lot of the time, hung over feeling. Quite queasy, can't eat much, lost over half a stone. I find the weirdest part is losing my appetite. It's never been gone for this long before and I loved food!! Hope it comes back soon.

Hoping to chat to some others expecting around Feb time, so we can all go through it together.

Love to all you other Mums to be, look forward to hearing from you!

xx

hi ya,

im 8w 5d so roughly the same as u, i have a dating scan on 27.07.11 to confirm as i have pcos so no regular cycle.

im feeling mega tired, keep getting headaches and feel queasy some of the time.

do you have a scan booked in yet? xx

Hiya -

Im at 7w and 5 days - so thinking im due about 27/28th of feb. This is my first one - so its great to have other folk to chat to that are at the same stages.

Im feeling pretty much the same as you, poppypd - kinda like the world's worst hangover. Plus all i want to do is sleep.

On the up side - OH has taken to doing most of the house work - which is a fair bonus - cos he did pretty much nothing before. lol

Hi girls congrats to u all!!!! I think I'm due 16th feb but not 100 percent so have a dating scan this weds 20th when I will be 10 weeks!! I also had a batch of food poisoning so just checking all ok! Never felt so nervous before just can't wait for it to be here!!
I am soooo tired it's unreal and just want to sleep I also have quite a few spots which I don't usually and feel very bloated :( this is all worth it thow girls! All I cam say is thank god it's us women that have the babies! The men would never cope with this!! Lol x stace

Hi girls I'm 8w3d. Feeling shattered most if the time and very nauseous especially when I'm hungry if I don't eat regulary I'll be sick. Few headaches today and boobs have become huge now(usually I'm quite small chested so the hubby is happy)!

Seem to begetting quite full round my tummy and wake up bloated now, grow little bean grow!

What I've suffered with most is wind. It's trapped and painful. It could be the progesterone presseries I am taking but I hope it gets better soon!

Hope all you girls are coping ok with the symptoms, it'll be 12 weeks before we know it! Xx

Hi all,

I'm due around feb 20 i think. Been sicky but not suffering with it like some people I know, sore boobs, bloated/wind, tired and spotty!

Also dizzy at times!

Booking appt with midwife next week....

Hello to all the ladies who have replied so far, great to hear from you. I have an appointment with the midwife, the first one, next week. My sister told me to tell them I wasn't sure about the date of LMP as she had the same problem and they did an earlier dating scan for her. OH came home last night I think with a migraine (he doesn't normally suffer with them) he moaned and whimpered saying he felt sicky and then fell asleep to wake up fine this morning. (I wanted to say, 'imagine that but every day' - but I didn't!!) He's been great so no complaints really, he's probably more excited than me at this stage. I just want to feel well enough to go about my life normally, not even sure if going to see the new Harry Potter today is a good idea!

For all those feeling nauseous, what are you eating? I need some new ideas. I started on crackers and plain crisps but soon became really fed up of them. I have a apple every morning, I think these help,! Ginger biscuits. I find I can only eat when someone else makes it, haven't got the energy or desire to cook anything. I am now on cup a soup with plain bread, had pasta with a plainish tomato sauce on last night, that was ok.

Hey everyone. Glad to hear everyone is feeling the same way. Dunno how those who already have kids manage - lol - i came home from work today and slept all afternoon.

Poppy - I found that sucking boiled sweets helps with my nausea.

Im currently sitting down to steak & chips - which i managed to cook myself. - first time in a while. I bought in some microwave things - like little pizzas or burgers - so that when i cant face cooking I can shove something in to re-heat.

Discovered by accident the other day that soup went down well - OH wanted to go out for lunch - and i had to try to eat something - so have stocked up on tins of that as well.

Hope you all have happy and healthy pregnancies :dance:xxxx

Hi! I'm due Feb 7th/8th. Some days I have really bad morning sickness, and some days I feel completely fine. Overall, it has been better than expected as my Mom had horrible morning sickness for all of here pregnancies. Happy nine months to everyone!!!

Hey - I am due 28th Feb at the moment until scan in August.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Im suffering with really bad nausea all day long and find if i feel in the slightest bit hungy then its 10x worse! So i have been non stop stuffing my face. Not ideal. Have found also boiled sweets and ginger nuts do the job to help cure it. x

Hey everyone!

I'm new to this too! My EDD is 1st Feb 2010 :) Not really had much nausea, I'm actually really enjoying being pregnant so far :)

Looking forward to chatting with you all,

Mel

Mummy-Mel - not much nausea! -you lucky thing!!! I had my first midwife appointment at the docs today, she was nice. Even though I feel pretty rubbish I still don't feel it's real!

Sickness ramped up this week. Lovely!

Larlybelle - I'm a Maidstone girl.

poppypd - yeah I think I have been very lucky with that! I do feel sorry for all you poor girlies that are feeling awful, hopefully it will pass soon!

It still doesn't feel real to me either. I don't think it will until we can see our little one at the first scan! Eeek! :)

I know what you mean mel - cant wait for my first scan.
I have my first appointment with midwife on monday.

x

l_maclean - I hope it all goes well for you :) I was actually really worried about my midwife appointment because I'm petrified of needles, but she decided not to do the bloods while I was there and gave me the forms to get them done at the surgery instead so I was able to relax and enjoy my appointment. I know they don't really do much at the appointment, but it's exciting because it's a milestone! My hubby said that when we went to that appointment, it suddenly started to feel real to him. I'm not sure it will feel real to me until the scan! :) Let me know how your appointment goes x

Hi ladies,

I'm due 16th Feb according to dating scan but all will be confirmed at 12 week scan. Have been feeling really sick but it has started to subside from all day to just the evenings. Now really bloated (plus gained 1/2 stone from all the extra eating!) and have had to purchase a pair of jeans the next size up and live in leggings most of the time.

Hi all,

Today has been my worst day so far! Left work 2 hours early and came home to sleep. Been so tired and sicky it's been horrible.

Last nigh I cried cos my DH wouldn't let me sleep at 6:15! He was shocked to to say the least when I burst in to tears!

But on a positive note we have a dating scan on Wednesday :yay: so excited to see pip again. Roll on Wednesday!!
