My first guess would be that the mother had an argument with the daughter and she accidentally fell out the window. The mum thought she'd killed her and couldn't live with it, so went and drowned herself. Probably nothing like that, but it was my first thought. It's such a shame.

they said the mum was there and witnessed her fall,
i just assumed the same as hotluck and minxy
that she must have thought the daughter died and
couldnt handle it so she killed herself...thats so sad if that is what happened
