Heard some horror stories about reduced movement after the jabs has anyone had any side effects from having them supposed to be having both jabs tomorrow but really worried?

Had whooping cough jab at 28 weeks and flu one about 34 weeks. No side effects with either and none mentioned to me by mw. Not heard of either of them causing reduced movements!

Had both and fine with both. Sore arm with whooping but nothing else x

Thanks having mine today I should stay away from Google and stop looking stuff up :( I just worry to much xxx

I had my flu jab and whooping cough jabs on the same day - one in each arm and I just had mega sore arms for a few days! Xx

Yeah just a sore arm for a bit that's it :)

I was fine, arm was a bit sore but nothing too bad at all. xx

I had the flu jab several weeks back now, no problems at all. I have my whooping cough jab on Monday, all I've heard from friends who've had it is that it gave them a dead arm!

Try not to worry, there's a lot of scare tactics atm from anti-vaccine supporters. I've had to step away from the PC more than once on another site, in sheer frustration at the bullying, viscous and almost cult-like comments being pushed around about having any kind of medical attention whatsoever, including these jabs!

Just remember that the NHS, and health organisations in general, would not pass something as OK for use during pregnancy if it wasn't. As always, with any reduced movement, contact your midwife asap - but there is no factual, scientific evidence to back up the idea that a flu jab or whooping cough jab has that effect!

I get very fustrated about the lack of real information we are given on vaccines. I agree there is a lot of extremist anti vaccine information out there which isnt at all helpful but honestly I think it goes both ways. As someone who had a serious reaction to a vaccine myself its very hard to find a doctor who will discus any concerns with you in a sensible way. They can be just as extreme in the opposite direction (dare I say cult-like, lol). Bad reactions can happen but on the whole the benifit of being vaccinatred outweights any possible risk for most people.

I've left it too late to have whooping cough and I won't be getting the flu jab :/

I had mine a week apart, no symptoms and no reduced movements x

I've had both and had no side effects other than a really really sore arm after the whooping cough jab!!

Ha day whooping cough at 28 weeks and my flu jab yesterday at 37 and the baby was moving loads yesterday/last night so definitely no reduced movement here!
