Egg donation/donor eggs.

I got a reply from the clinic about her AMH, its good apparently, the nurse said they only take people on the programme who have good test results.
I remember from before that the consultant said they expect the donor to produce at least 8 eggs so we have 4 each, then if she produces less she either keeps them all and pays for her own ivf or gives the majority of them to me.
The nurse asked if I still want to go ahead, I really do and don't want them to think I want to cancel the appointment! Now to persuade DH!

Yes it is! I'll tell DH I've been offered an appointment and want to go ahead. If I didn't take it someone else would get in there by the time he decided!

Yeah its not for 2 weeks! I told him I got a reply from the nurse today about our concerns and offering another appointment and said could we have a chat about it sometime! His curiosity got the better of him and be asked what she said. He listened and doesn't seem totally against it so we are getting somewhere!

Thought I'd better update on here although I have been updating in the IVF thread and my own journals! It was successful and we have non identical twin boys due any time now! Planned induction middle of December so hope they don’t come before I'm ready!

I would really recommend DE if you have had failed cycles or are over 42. Once you get your head round the compromise it's so much less stressful.

So excited to meet them now!

Natural after induction if possible but c section pencilled in just in case Twin 1 is still head up!

I have no dir experiences, but come across lots of successful stories of ladies (even of ladies who are 50) who have undergone ivf with de on this forum, fertilityfriends and eggdonationfriends com
