Trawling the web trying find a thin cotton dressing gown to take to the hospital and cant find any that aren't stupid amounts of money (don't want to fork out more that £20 if poss if it's going to potentially get stained etc!). Has anyone got theirs and if so where from please? Thanks xx

Hi, I've just got mine from Mothercare. Thin, grey, lightweight maternity one. It's perfect. 18 quid so not a bad price. :)

Oh Vegas cheers- that looks spot on! Have you got everything for your hosp bag now? X

Yeah I've been off work today so managed to get everything packed up ready. Only got last couple of things to go in like charger and makeup that I'll just chuck in when it's time to go. Making a start on washing things for baby hospital bag now ha ha :) u getting sorted?

I'm going to pack mine this weekend. Think I've got most stuff but I'll end up forgetting something like I normally do! I'm getting more worried about stuff for baby, how many sleepsuits/babygros are you taking? My gran laughed at me today saying I'm packing like I'm going on a fancy holiday, not a labour ward!

I got a black one from Peacocks for about £8, still need to get some nighties though. xx

£8 is a great price! Don't think I have a peacocks near me though :( I just got a big (hideous!) nighty from Primark along with some stretchy chemise type ones too (easy to get boob out ha!), and I also got two of the super basic, £2 xl men's t-shirts just in case. X

just put a new thread on for what I'm planning on taking for baby hospital bag. I know what u mean I dunno how much stuff to take either ha :)

That's so handy Vegas! Will be following that thread for defo! Is it sad that I'm excited to pack?? How long have you got now?

Im not bothering with one
The delivery suite is all private with A/C and ensuites
Then the maternity ward is too hot so I'll have as few layers on as possible just gonna use dark pyjamas to hide any stains I think x

What week did/is everyone packing their hospital bags? x

I packed a thin waffle one from primark when I had my son, never used it! Nearly burned to death on the ward.

I've just packed mine lisa. at 36 weeks :)

I'm packing mine this weekend (I'm 31+3). I know it's a bit early but I just really want to do it ha! Got a few more bits to buy still but will feel better when I've started at least. I'm likely to be induced earlier too, so iiif it's not packed in time and my husband had to do it I dread to think what would be in it! Xx

I'm ALWAYS cold, but knowing me I'll buy one and get too hot too! Would mainly like one to cover up if I have to walk/potter anywhere xx
