Does anyone know this book?

just wondered if anyone knows what this book is called and author?

its starts with a man visiting a graveyard and he sees an old woman and young girl and a headstone

anyway he ends up at this womans house and she starts telling him about her past...

she got preg young and ends up living in a brothel and has a little boy
later on the father drowns the little boy

she ends up living on a farm and i think she has an affair with the farmer (who is marriied)

lol its a bit vague but i really want to know because id love to read it again

When you read it had it just been published or was it an older book?
Was it set in modern day or in the past?

i found the book

its called The Journey by Josephine Cox
the sequeal is called The Journeys End

going to market tomorrow to look for them

I read this y'day and thought it sounded like a good book too.....will keep my eye out for those
