Divorce - advice please

Some of you may have read my topic in here last year about wanting to leave my husband - well I did it and am very happy.

I now need some advice on divorce. My Husband and I want to get divorced, but do all the agreement stuff (financial) ourselves. Has anyone on here done this please? We've discussed figures which I'm happy with and now we need to know how to proceed with the financial side of things. It's in my best interest to do this ASAP as I have a place to rent and will be moving in there very soon.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

hi ya hun all you need to do is go to the courts to get papers and pay small fee as me and my ex did it that way its simple and quick x

Hi ya

When you say papers, do you mean you dealt with the whole thing without Solicitors?

Did you both agree a financial settlement and if so how did you have to set them out to the courts?
