Discharge

Hey!

I appreciate that this might be a bit tmi but I'm getting a bit worried! This is my second pregnancy and everything has been going really well, no sickness etc. Just tired. But the past week I seem to be having strange discharge. It's almost like my plug is coming away in bits. It is all very thick and is sometimes streaked with blood. Is this normal? I know all is well with bean as I have a Doppler and find it often and I had an early scan on Saturday showing everything is perfect. I guess it's just a bit of a concern! Thanks in advance guys!

I don't honestly know. Have you asked the midwife?

I have a lot of discharge but it's very watery. I have also had a couple of bits of blue streaked mucus but not lots like you describe. Midwife told me it was all normal.

I'm guessing if your scan was ok then all is well xx

Just a thought - any chance you could have thrush? Common pregnancy side affect and doesn't always have to be mega itchy. Can look a bit like cottage cheese?
