brown discharge at 7 weeks

Hello, I' m new here and have a quick question. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and I had a bit of brown/pink discharge last night after sex.I didn't have any pain and no discharge since. Is this anything to be worried about?

Hiya Linny

It's highly unlikely that such bleeding is anything to worry about. Brown blood is usually "old" blood so it's problerbly a bit of old implantation bleeding that was disturbed during sex. Its usually bright red blood thats associated with anything sinister - And even then the bleeding can be harmless.

I don't think you have anything too worry about.

Thanks Rachael. I'll speak to my GP about it on monday and think and see if I can get an early scan. I'm a bit scared to have sex again though. my poor husband will be frustrated!

I had this at 7 weeks, not after sex but it just came out over a couple of days.

I read somewhere it was just my cycle settling down at what might have been my next period.

Unless it gets heavier or painful it's probably nothing to worry about.HTH
