Did your first sweep work?

A sweep is when they insert a finger into the cervix and then make a circular motion around the neck of the womb. The movement helps seperate the cervix from the membrane. It also helps stimulate the release prostaglandins which are the hormone that signals your brain to start labour.

I had one at 41 weeks and nothing happened... Being induced in the morning..x

I had a sweep at 41 weeks, had my little lad 2 days later but she couldn't even give me the sweep cos my cervix was too far back and babys head was in the way, but I reckon the internal done something lol x x
