Just wondered what interesting facts you've discovered while being pregnant?

Like, did you know only 4% of babies are born on their 'EDD' and that the EDD is actually a method measured in lunar cycles, which makes it 10 months long.

And, women in comas can give birth naturally, un-assisted.

Hi

oh how odd is that
hmm cant think of any interesting facts

I didn't know about the comas thing but did know about the EDD thing.
I can't think of any interesting facts of the top of my head...mind you I've only just woken up

It's not a pregnancy thing, but apparently in china, childrens birthdays are their EDD's regardless of when they are born, so that if they are born early they are in effect -2 weeks or whatever and the EDD is where they start their first year? Apparently its to help when they get to school, as a child born really prematurely would otherwise have more of a disadvantage compared to others the same age.

Thought that was interesting!

i'v learned a few little facts, but i'v got pregnancy mist over my brain i cant remember any lol

Since becoming pregnant I have discovered that being able to put on your own socks and shoes is something I have always taken for granted.

I have also learnt that I like being un-pregnant far more than I do being pregnant.

i've found that it's now acceptable for my male boss to say "breast feeding" without any of us getting embarrassed about it

i've found i'm less embarrased about buying things or saying things i usually would feel embarrased about, like i'll openly talk about how great it is that i don't have to have periods cos i'm pregnant.. whereas usually i would be the quiet one that goes red at the thought of saying period pain in front of people

i have said "thrush" out loud to both the midwife and my OH and thought nothing of it
